We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

Extremely pleasant stay in Jocelyne's beautiful house. The place is totally in line with the photos, if not even better. The place is really quiet, it's very soothing. Everything was perfect, the pool, the hot tub, the garden, the well-equipped kitchen, the dining and rest areas. We felt like we were home very quickly. Jocelyne advised us on activities and restaurants next to her house. Thank you again for hosting us. This week was perfect! We'll be happy to go back!

Brigitte is a great host, the concept of a trailer in nature with animals, games for children, canoes on the edge of the Lot, is just incredible. We had a very good, friendly welcome. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely be back

the cottage is as described. the cottage is very spacious with all the necessary amenities. quiet and relaxing environment. David's instructions are very clear. i would definitely recommend it.

We made a stopover on the way to our vacation, and regretted spending only one night there! Very nice place, hyper equipped tent, and very nice hospitality. A little disappointed not to have been able to enjoy the hot tub, but it will be for another time:)

Very good stay, the garden is beautiful and peaceful, the village is very cute 20 minutes from the Dordogne Valley. Jean Marie and Nicole are charming and hosted us very well.

The house is exceptional, in a very quiet setting. We had a great time between the pool, barbuc and shooting stars. The host provided us with towels and fans (the house stays cool even in hot weather). Special mention to Patrick for his responsiveness and kindness. I recommend it 100%.

Easy to find quiet location, in area with some of the most beautiful villages in France with Markets on every day in the surrounding area as well as superb Michelin restaurants using incredible local produce . Comfortable open plan property, modern facilities in traditional cottage, easy to operate and cosy wood pellet heater. Property less suited if very tall ( I’m 6’4”) due to beautiful but low beams. Parking is right next to property. Host very responsive on any request.

Fabrice was responsive to our approach, which did not allow us to enjoy the accommodation on the terms of the reservation. Conciliatory, from the moment we were able to book, he was considerate and available for our stay. The accommodation is a peaceful haven where the smell of wood and cleanliness are de rigueur. I sincerely thank him for hosting us. A magnificent 11th century church is only 10 meters away to appreciate the technical prowess of the time, and the know-how of the maintenance of exceptional buildings

My husband and I spent a week at Catherine's stunning home in June. The grounds are literally breath taking and the apartment had everything you needed. We loved the pool area and Catherine supplied a bbq so we had dinner on our own private lawn overlooking the beautiful grounds one evening, truly magical! Emyet is only 5 mins drive and has an abundance of beautiful restaurants. Catherine was so helpful giving us great suggestions of places to visit. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it for a special stay in the Dordogne. Wonderful!! Thank you Catherine.

We spent the Easter weekend at Andrew's house, as a family of 14. It rained the whole stay but we were still comfortable in the large house between the large living room and its fireplace which warmed us up, the dining room and the attached game room. We will have to come back to enjoy the pool, pétanque, bikes and great outdoors around. It's a big rustic house, you can find things to complain about but the price is what we have. In our opinion, the priority for improvement would be the bathrooms. There are all the amenities to have a good stay and Andrew was very responsive when we needed to turn on the boiler.

Family reunions in this large cottage for 12 people. It offers great value for money because it is very well arranged, very clean and quiet in a very beautiful garden on the ground floor. The owners are on the other side of the cottage, discreet but also know how to help when we ask them. Very nice welcome and welcome gifts very appreciated. We took advantage of Bazas (10 min), La Réole (25 min) and Lake Clarens (25 min) for swimming with the children. We strongly recommend this cottage.

if you're looking for rural, rustic with amazing views and enjoy the odd visit from a deer then this is the place for you. Emma was exceptionally accommodating and even invited us in her home for an Easter meal. Emma has great recommendations for.local and non local places. there are a lot of English who meet locally who Emma introduced us to and along with Emma we had lots of great times. the Gite is comfty and cosy and a brilliant typical French home surrounded by vines and woodlands and a short 2 mile walk to the local village. this is one of those places you'll revisit time and time again

Manuella is very responsive. had a great stay with our children. terrace in the back which is very nice for family meals.

we stayed at the Gite for 15 days. Inga & Marco were very welcoming & attentive throughout our stay. The accommodation was spacious & met all our needs for our stay. We had access to a lovely pool on one side. At front we had a patio which was lovely for our lunch & dinner. it is very private & secluded. The gite is in a great location with beautiful villages nearby. Inga & Marco were fabulous hosts, so helpful. We would recommend this gite

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

Atmosphere and total immersion in the world of Tolkien County. Young and old met in this magical place straight out of a fairy tale and especially from the creative spirit of our hosts. What talents!! Thanks for the suspended moment

We had a lovely stay at Marie and Thomas's. The accommodation is very well equipped, perfect for children to have fun. The presence of the vegetable garden, chickens, all the outdoor amenities make the stay very pleasant for young and old alike. The natural pool is a great discovery. Marie and Thomas are very responsive hosts, which is nice. We thank them for our stay.

Perfect house for a large extended family group. Cannot say enough about how amazing this house is. Beautiful outdoor and indoor space including tables large enough for big groups to dine. Kitchen very well equipped. Utility room with pool towels, washing machine etc. We had some excellent weather and spent lots of time around the pool. Outdoor space including pool area truly excellent with inflatables, sun chairs, patio, gardens etc. Enough bedrooms for many guests, quiet, good Aircon if needed, versatile accomodation. The games room was a big hit on a rainy day! Food: All Monsegur- Salle a Manger excellent dinner for large groups. Chocolatine - local amazing bakery Local market (Friday AM) for local quality produce Activities - The Naked Vingeron; wine tasting and tour of the vineyard (English) Amanda and David were excellent hosts. Also Des-chênes-toi Aventure Adventure Park which is 5 mins drive and absolutely incredible! Overall such a special stay, thank you!

We had a pleasant stay in an exceptional place Extremely spacious, beautiful, large library with piano, floor and very well-equipped rooms. Awesome pool Elisabeth was very welcoming and very responsive. I would highly recommend this exceptional property.

Great location. Beautiful surroundings. Pool was amazing for the kids and a little bigger than it looks in the photos. Comfy beds, lots of storage and fresh towels with blankets to wrap up in on the evenings.
