We spent 7 nights in this Villa and left very happy! Beautiful garden and nature, great location. Kavindu was very helpful and response very quickly to any request:) Almost in front of the villa Murphy restaurant has very good food! 👍

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

An eclectic Villa in the midst of nature and tranquil surroundings. The Villa spotless clean with great individual furniture in all rooms. Great verndah to sit and soak in the surroundings. Nice pool with loads of privacy. Asanka the caretaker is very responsive and discreet and keeps the place ticking . Kanthi rustles up some amazing cuisine whether for breakfast , lunch or dinner … short distance to the beach and restaurants etc … Highlight was the in house dog Patsy .. in all a perfect getaway !! Well done Olivia for making it a home away from home…

Notre meilleur logement en 6 semaines au Sri Lanka. C'est très calme, le train à côté ne nous a pas du tout dérangé ni réveillé Chambre très agréable, avec tous l'équipement nécessaire, c'était parfait. Le jardin est magnifique, paisible, très agréable, le bassin est parfait pour se rafraîchir. La cuisine est très propre avec tout ce qu'il faut pour prendre le petit déjeuner, c'était parfait pour se rassembler en famille. Tout est entretenu chaque jour, tôt le matin, sans même que l'on s'en rende compte. Les hôtes sont ultra attentionnés : scooter, sortie bateau, conseils, plateaux de fruits, ils nous ont même apporté des crêpes un matin, au moindre soucis ils étaient présents, ils ont vraiment pris soin de nous du début à la fin. Je vous recommande vivement cet hébergement, c'est d'une très grande qualité, le meilleur rapport qualité prix que l'on a vu au Sri Lanka.

The property itself felt like a warm hug. Surrounded by lush paddy fields, a lotus pond, and vibrant greenery, it offered breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset. 🌻 The design combines comfort and charm, with spacious rooms, an efficient kitchen, and thoughtful touches like a washing machine. Mornings were magical—waking to birdsong and the golden glow of sunrise over the fields. Evenings, with fiery sunsets and calm breezes, were equally enchanting. The caretaker added to the experience with warm smiles and traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts. Hasitha even arranged a visit to his brother’s tea plantation—a memorable highlight. Two days weren’t enough. This wasn’t just a stay; it was a soul-refreshing experience we’ll always treasure. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and authenticity ❤️✨

We had an awesome time at Rakis. the property was everything we hoped for from the beautiful pool to spacious rooms. It was private and cosy . The chef & all staff were friendly and accomadating ! we will be back

We had very good time in this apartment. Methmal and Renuka are very pleasant and friendly hosts. It is very quiet place with jungle view and cozy beach in 7 minutes by foot. You could eat in nearby cafes or choose food in Uber eats. Also I would like to notify guests with heavy luggage or health problems about steep stairs to second floor.

Gosh, what a wonderful experience. A treehouse idle that exceeded our expectations. A rustic luxury studio cabin in the forest canopy with stunning view of the sea. The little patio and plunge pool was comforting place to absorb the wonderful sounds and sights of nature about you with the soothing sound of the waives crashing onto the beach. We loved being tucked up in bed with the sound of the waives and the hard tropical rain on the roof and forest foliage. The treehouse was simply enchanting in every respect, relaxing and authentic. Eranga, our owner host, could not have been more welcoming and charming. He prepared a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast and supper one evening in the little treehouse kitchenette. Eranga has a protected turtle hatchery and it was a privilege to see his conservationist pleasure releasing the overnight hatchlings onto the beach and watch them instinctively seek out the sea. The village along the lane has some really “cool” restaurants like Sand Banks.
