Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Agkistri

We had a great few days in Athens- location was amazing- so central, lots of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk. Quiet even though it was in a central area. Plaka was a perfect place to stay. We walked everywhere. The patios and terraces were a standout- so lovely to sit in the morning with coffee or the evening with a drink- views of the Acropolis from the upstairs terrace. There were many places to sit and relax outside and it was private. The air conditioning was super. Kitchen was well stocked- we used the Nespresso and there were little milks in the fridge. We were met at the house when we arrived and when we departed. We were given clear instructions on how to use everything as well as local recommendations and maps. I would definitely stay here again. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. They had made the bedroom on the left of the house into twin beds, where 2 kids slept and then the other 2 bedrooms are on the right side of the house- one upstairs one downstairs

Yanni's place is fantastic - clean and welcoming and great for kids. In an excellent location. Yanni was a brilliant host, easy to get in touch with, very helpful and kind. Would really recommend staying here!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful house. Such a lovely well looked after vaulted living space which was clean and comfortable and in a really quiet location. The terrace was perfect with stunning views of the town roofscape and harbour where you can easily while away an afternoon watching the busy boat traffic from afar. We definitely came home fitter ;-) having climbed all the steps normally twice a day which is a good thing! Much harder to climb up again after some very good meals out! Danae was an amazing host and really responsive, even organising for mules up to the apartment to show us the way up and some treats for our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’d love to return. Would highly recommend.

Great location with restaurants across the street. Great for groups who want to be under the same roof but also want to have their own space in different apartments. There are 3 apartment and each apartment is equipped with a bathroom which made getting ready easy for us 4 ladies. The top 1st floor apt ‘Harmonia’ is very modern, with two twin beds in one room and a Queen size in the other room, kitchen with a cute pink fridge and very modern bathroom. Then there’s the basement apartment ‘Erato’ with a twin sized bed in one room and a queens sized bed in the adjacent room. Living room with tv as well. This apartment has had a switch which you had to flip about 30 mins before taking a shower so you can heat the water, which was a little inconvenient but wasn’t such a deal breaker. The basement apartment’s shower is tricky, had to turn knobs and a contraption on the faucet you had to move up and down to make it go from faucet to shower. Then there’s the studio apt ‘Aegle’ which is small

This was a great find for us, close to the airport after a late night arrival, Google maps got us to the right place first time and it was a lovely family farmhouse. Clean and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The courtyard was a gorgeous spot for breakfast and so was the patio outside the kitchen. We met the hosts who were friendly and kind especially when we managed to lock ourselves out!

We loved the private location, very peaceful by the pool, lots of sitting areas in the shade or sun. Plenty of pool items and kids stuff, loved the playground and trampoline. Turtles wonder the property. Beautiful views. As described it’s at the top of a hill, 15 min walk down. Groceries can be driven up by the sellers. Food can be delivered. Taxis we found worked easily with Uber taxi. Lots of entertainment tv, DVDs, etc we didn’t use but they’re there. : ) Overall we loved it, and Thanos was a helpful and communicative host. He has a good manual with lots of suggestions to make your stay easy to plan!

Valia's place is lovely. Inside has a very comfortable and well styled living space with everything you need and the bedroom and bathroom are also very good. The fan in the bedroom was essential and happily silent. The place has a large veranda that is ther perfect place to relax in the shade and there are additional places to sit in the garden that is shared with the other apartment and provide the best view of the sunset. Valia is a super host whose guide to the region is impecable - she has gone to a great effort to help guests find places to see, eat, and things to do. Taktikoupoli is very quiet which I loved and its an easy drive to beaches, supermarkets and other places of interest.

10/10, nothing more to say. A short distance from Hydra, away from all the noise. It’s close if you want to go there, yet still near beautiful beaches, great excursions, and charming restaurants. We loved spending time on the terrace with sea views, enjoying beautiful breakfasts and dinners. Highly recommended.

The purpose of our trip was to attend a concert at the Lycabettus Theatre. We didn’t expect the apartment to be as perfect as it was! The apartment is clean, trendy, cool from the air con and the private pool was just the best!!! We loved the area, with it being slightly out the way from city centre. Kolanaki has so much hidden gems with great food spots! Thank you for having us X

We had a lovely stay in Athens. The flat was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the main tourist area.

An absolutely magnificent place! Hard to imagine that you can find a place like this in a large city! It was a short walk from restaurants, supermarket and the metro. Rooftop pool with great privacy was wonderful on hot days and also swimming at night with the city lights in the background. Rooftop terrace was overlooking the city and with views to Lycabettus hill and nature on the other side. On many evenings we ordered food in and ate at the rooftop terrace. We were a group of six and could not have been more pleased with our stay. Dimitris was very helpful and a great host!

This is great location for exploring all Athens has to offer on foot or using public transport. The accommodation offered everything we needed and despite normal city centre noise levels we had no problem sleeping. We would certainly stay there again.

Very nice apartment with two bedrooms; basically with two terraces: from the top you have a view of the Acropolis; on the lower one you can have a very good breakfast or drink a glass in the evening. Air conditioners worked very well. In the refrigerator, we found a few samples that we could use. Washing machine is also a plus. Small drawback: there is no vent in the bathroom - you can only open the window to the hallway. Location is perfect to discover Athens. Restaurant recommendation To Trikyklo was great. Communication went smoothly. Check-in was super easy. A later check-out was even offered, which we liked to use. Well-stocked supermarket is just around the corner. Attention: if you are traveling with large suitcases, you will find the last part (wooden staircase) a little tight. Next time, we'd only come with hand luggage. There is no other reason to file a complaint. We can recommend the accommodation and host without reservation. Thank you!

Aggeliki by far is the best host out of all the people I have rented from on Airbnb. She is very friendly, very helpful, always keen to help. Place was amazing and she is very responsive. She also like to recommend restaurants, places to visit, etc… I was also travelling to Naxos and she was already proactive with providing me with her favourite restaurants and beaches there. Her place is also very cosy, has a great atmosphere I believe that’s because it is their own house in which the rent every now and then. In short, great host that gives me even extra motivation to come to Athens!

Airbnb was great and high quality all around with plenty of amenities. Spiros was quick to respond to anything that came up.

Romanos 5th floor apartment in Athens worked well for our stay. It is a large studio apartment with beautiful windows on both sides, a large deck and an amazing view of the Acropolis. It is in an excellent area with great restaurants and close to everything. We felt very comfortable there. The bathroom really needs to be redone since the shower is in a jacuzzi tub that doesn’t have a flat bottom. We knew this when we booked because very accurate photos were included. We loved the rest of the apartment and appreciated the cancellation policy so we booked anyway. If the bathroom was redone with a normal shower, this apartment would be ideal for everyone. As it is, I would recommend anyone with mobility issues to choose something different. It worked fine for us. Romano responded quickly to our communications and was very helpful with recommendations. We loved Athens and had a great stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at Maria's villa for our family vacation. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from fantastic restaurants, two grocery stores, and two bakeries, which made everything incredibly convenient. But the true highlight was the breathtaking view of the sea, which we enjoyed every single day. The villa itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home. Maria was incredibly generous, leaving us a lovely welcome basket filled with goodies, which was such a thoughtful touch. Jimmy was outstanding—he met us at the port, helped us organize taxis, and shared great local recommendations. He also kept us updated with anything we needed to know, including local news like power or water outages, which was really helpful and reassuring. We would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Our family of four (two teenage daughters) enjoyed our stay tremendously. Hot temps but the air conditioners worked very well and fast. Very clean and comfy beds. So much space. Details to consider... elevator doesn't go to the top floor with the master bed/bath. Nightclub across the street at the end of the block, must not run consistently website says Friday and Saturday but only Friday for us. The bass was loud and foot traffic late. Mature trees surround the house so expect bird nose in the morning. We found the bathroom space ample. Large shower room on the pool floor, a full wet bathroom on the first floor, main floor has a powder room, another full bath with separate enclosed shower on the top floor. Great wifi and smart TVs. Pool was larger and deeper than we expected, wonderful! Ate at a lovely dumpling place nearby and numerous restaurants within blocks I wish we could have dined at. Mini markets and food carts super close. Metro about 4 blocks. We'd absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful time at the Villa! Such a beautiful place that could easily handle our family of 15 with people of all ages (baby to grandparents). Everyone had places to sleep and had their own space. We loved using the outside kitchen and used it all but one of the evenings we stayed there. There are tons of kitchen appliances, including things like citrus juicers for that huge bag of oranges or lemons that you bought on the side of the road while driving in. Activity-wise, you could potentially walk down to the beach, but we often drove with so many children. You'll have to rent a car to get there, and I'd recommend one that can climb steep hills. It's quite extreme in both the village and the villa's driveway in particular. Chrysanthi is a lovely person and will try to make your arrival easy if you meet her in town and let her lead you to the Villa. There are two roads and one makes it difficult or impossible to enter the property, so check with her first!

Staying at Mariangela's guest house was an absolute dream. Having a secluded piece of the Mediterranean right out side your doorstep is a true luxury! The place is very clean and has all the amenities you need-thoughtful touches like shampoo and conditioner, we also loved having a freddo maker! Mariangela and her husband themselves are a reason to stay-very attentive to us and made us feel like we were staying with family. From jer fresh olives, wonderful welcome treats, to the offer of taking us out on the SUPs, what lovely lovely people. We can't wait to come back! Xx

This is a beautiful home that has absolutely a wonderful environment with a serene surrounding. Being an artist’s home - everything including the furnishing was beautiful to look at and be in that space. The bedding and the towels were exceptional. Our host gave us very important information as to where to dine and made our stay perfect.

A marvelous gem in the area of Ancient Epidavros ! fantastic view of the area and the sea! Serene and relaxing environment, clean, tight, and well-arranged furniture, a huge and clean pool, and a great barbeque area, what else is there to ask? if there was something to add as a suggestion would be to have a rump next to the outdoor stepway to enter the villa---a bit difficult to bring up a lot of suitcases when climbing the few steps -- and mosquito nets on windows and balcony doors. absolutely recommended!! do not miss this villa Sunshine when in the area of Ancient Epidavros surely we shall visit it again soon George

Beautiful vacation home with fantastic views of the sea and islands. Ideal for a relaxing holiday by the sea. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet, there are no direct neighbors. Beautiful and secluded beaches can be reached in a short time by car. The house and the amenities leave nothing to be desired, just perfect. Andreas is a very attentive landlord who gave us some good tips. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
