Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Adelaide Hills Council

We stayed here with our wedding party ahead of our wedding in the hills. The property was big and great for a group of our size. Angus and Anoushka gave us plenty of helpful information to help us enjoy our stay. We loved being so close to the Stirling village. Thanks!

Beautiful welcome with the fire on because we had a late check in. Everything was easy to find and the bed was very comfortable after working at the Gumeracha Medieval fair. The communication between Robyn was very responsive. We didn't have time to see the gorgeous animals but we will next time.

Fabulous spot for everything we needed. While there was street noise, it is what should be expected for the location. Beautiful little township, wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

What a great place to stay. Old, but clean and specious with everything you would want including home grown tomatoes and homemade fig jam. the gardens, unfortunately affected by the drought, are great. We would have loved to see them in their full glory. The owners were great also and promptly top us up with a couple of items we were running out of. We would certainly stay again.

Had a wonderful family weekend away. Unfortunately the weather was not great, but this house was perfect for staying indoors. Lots of space and an amazing living area with a fire place. Perfect spot to spend a cold, wintery day.

Mabel cottage was a wonderful hills staycation; walking distance from the main Street of Stirling and tucked away for peaceful moments ‘at home’. We loved sitting on the decking and watching the trees and garden. The kitchen was inviting and had everything we needed. A charming and wonderfully furnished home.

Emma's place was wonderful. Astoundingly well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom amenities. Comfortable and relaxing. We did not have a dog to bring, just ourselves. Any reservations we had that the place would be more animal focused and maybe a bit too 'hairy' were unfounded. The place was pristine clean, smelt fresh and welcoming, and was the perfect place to chill out. We will definitely be back to Emma's place again!

What a find! Superb accommodation in the Adelaide Hills. Large gardens (with own resident koala and kangaroos). Beautiful surroundings, very tranquil. Furnished to a high quality throughout. Amazing responsive and friendly hosts. So glad we found this place. Highly recommended

Stay was as advertised. Cozy and private, but just a short walk to Stirling. Responsive via app. Met the owner, super friendly. Would recommend as a stay in Stirling or as a base to explore the hills.

Peter's place was cosy, private and had more then enough amenities for what we needed for a weekend getaway. His listing advised us of plenty of recommendations to see and do, and was very prompt with communication during our time. The local Foodland is only 2 streets away and the main street was a very short 5 min drive. A very convenient location. We would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay and the accommodation was exactly what we needed. We were provided everything we need for our four day stay. Melanie is very responsive and very helpful.

A perfectly located apartment to explore Hahndorf and surrounds. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, spacious and homely. Nelia was very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. I would heartily recommend this property if you’re planning to stay in Hahndorf. Quiet, well placed and still only a short drive to Adelaide (less than 30 mins).

Beautiful unit. So close to the Main Street with plenty to do. Stated it wasn’t friendly for kids under 7 but we had our toddler there with no issues. Back yard was good size too.

The place was beautiful, a very relaxing atmosphere. The garden and outdoor bath with the fire pit and outdoor sound system, provided a lovely space to watch the stars with a complimentary wine. Wendy was a great host, super welcoming and accommodating. You won't regret staying here at all!

Ashton retreat was the perfect base to explore the Adelaide hills for a week. Beautiful and relaxing setting. Lovely to arrive to a fire set up ready to go, bowl of fruit, breakfast foods, and to be offered fresh greens from the garden. House was well equipped with more than we could think of! Lovely, clean, and cosy. Great birdlife. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent abode in the Adelaide Hills. It has beautiful surroundings and a stone’s throw from the bustling towns of the Hills. Highly recommend for a perfect country escape that still feels highly connected and convenient.

Deb’s place was absolutely amazing! Every thoughtful detail was taken care of, and we truly wanted for nothing during our stay. It’s no surprise that her property ranks in the top 1% of Airbnb listings, it certainly deserves the accolade. From the seamless check-in process to the warm welcome of freshly baked bread, a bottle of wine, and delicious chocolates on arrival, everything was perfect. The space itself was beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable, with every amenity you could hope for thoughtfully provided. Deb’s attention to detail and genuine care for her guests really shines through. We felt completely at home and incredibly well looked after. We would absolutely return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this exceptional property to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay.

This was the second time that we have stayed at M & Ms. They are wonderful hosts, the location is excellent for walking around or catching buses and being an apartment, there is a lot of space to spread out. We highly recommend the apartment and the excellent hosts.

Apartment was perfectly located in leafy Hindmarsh Square—quiet, safe, and just steps from Rundle Mall. Great pub and restaurant right downstairs. Super convenient and ideal for a city stay. The location felt incredibly safe, even at night, and it was always easy to pop out for a bite to eat or just enjoy a walk through the square. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a great base for exploring Adelaide. I’d definitely stay here again, highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, or anyone wanting to experience the best of the city while enjoying a peaceful, green setting!

We had a fantastic stay at this North Adelaide apartment. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location on Melbourne Street couldn’t have been better, with fantastic restaurants and cafes right on our doorstep, making it so easy to enjoy the area. Linda was an outstanding host. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Check-in instructions were incredibly clear and easy to follow, and any questions we had were answered quickly and helpfully. It really made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, and other essentials was very much appreciated, and the chocolates were such a thoughtful touch. Having access to the secure, gated car park was also invaluable, giving us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Adelaide.

Giovanna is a wonderful host who has opened up her home for others. It is located in a quiet part of North Adelaide yet only a few minutes walk from the restaurants, cafes and pubs of O’Connell St. the apartment is a spacious, very well appointed and super comfortable and warm. Giovanna was on the other side of the world, yet was always very quick to respond to any queries. It was a lovely stay and I look forward to returning.
