Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Acquaseria

This was our second visit, we enjoyed it so much two years ago. It is a steep but lovely walk out of town away from the tourists (there is a bus if you time it right) but absolutely worth it for this delightful house with views from every window. Silvano is kind and helpful and we enjoyed olives and fresh figs from his garden.

We have an excellent stay on the lake. Beautiful views and in a quieter area away from crowds!

Louise was so sweet and her home is a little gem with the BEST bathtub EVER in the bedroom. Such a cool place and very roomie for a couple. Beautiful decor! Love the interior design touches mixing the old stone with more modern elements. The only negative was finding parking. Luckily we found a little spot all the way down the hill in front of the school….but this is Lake Como so we’re used to hiking up the hill!:) Just an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and especially loved our meals out on the deck and also enjoyed Villa Lario built into the cliff just below. Fun experience:) We’d love to return sometime!

Absolutely beautiful! The view is extraordinary and the Airbnb is clean with good utensils in the kitchen. Davide and Kerry also gave really fast answers. Amazing!

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Such a historic, peaceful and walkable place. Market, 3restaurants and boat dock close for boat tours. Eros and Daniel were some of most helpful and responsive hosts I have seen. They live a block away. Will always cherish sitting on lawn at dusk watching lake Como lights come on

If you've ever dreamed of staying in a gorgeous villa, nestled high in the mountains, with incredible views of Lake Como then Villa Nina is the place for you. Claudio and Maria are incredibly kind and responsive to all inquiries - they made us feel right at home. The benefit of being further from the hustle and bustle of Varenna (approx 6-8 min drive) is that you can experience a truly local experience. I opened my window each morning to incredible views with sounds of the beautiful stream nearby. Some of the amenities (veranda, pool) are shared but this was not an issue for our family. We were able to enjoy everything on the property. The villa itself is well-appointed with everything you need for your stay. We traveled as a family of four (2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 older child) and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. We look forward to our next stay at Villa Nina!

The Best Airbnb I’ve Ever Stayed In – A Magical Experience! If I could give this place 100 stars, I would happily give 101! This Airbnb exceeded all expectations. It was even more beautiful than the photos — absolutely pristine, spotless, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details. The location feels like stepping into a fairytale: peaceful, magical, and right on a quiet beach. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of bubbly and water in the fridge, along with croissants, coffee, and tea. Fresh flowers brightened both the bathroom and living room, adding such a personal, elegant touch. Isa, our host, was incredibly kind and attentive. My friend has allergies to scented products, and Isa immediately removed all air fresheners and even sealed them in a bag before taking them out of the apartment. That level of care and responsiveness truly made our stay feel special. Amazing, wonderful, magical, Tranquilo . Highly recommend it – this place is unforgettable

Spent an amazing couple of days at this place! Really pleased with Monica’s communication and helpfulness. Her recommendations for restaurants and cafes were great and the house was very clean. 100% recommended!

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

Andrea’s apartment is extraordinary. The terrace and the bedrooms overlook the lake and the entire apartment is spotless and well equipped. We are so grateful for our time in Varenna and beautiful lake Como. To top it off our host helped us secure a reservation at Al Prato a very hard to get into restaurant located just across the square from our apartment. Best dining and service we had - highly recommend Andrea’s apartment. It is magical.

Andreas ist wirklich ein Super-Host: sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir durften sogar seinen Garagen-Platz benutzen. Die Kommunikation war äusserst unkompliziert und alles gut beschrieben. Die Lage des historischen Hauses ist einzigartig: einmalige Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore und die Berge sowie der wunderbare Garten und die super ausgestattete Loggia vor der Wohnung laden zum Verweilen ein. Der Dorfladen ist zu Fuss in 5 Minuten erreichbar und ist mit dem Wichtigsten für den täglichen Bedarf ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmacksvoll aber auch praktisch eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden (sogar Kaffee!), das Bett ist sehr bequem, und die Aussicht vom Schlafzimmer aus ist einzigartig. Während unserem Aufenthalt war es noch etwas kalt, wir konnten die Räume aber gut heizen. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt im Cà la Rocca sehr genossen und können's von Herzen weiter empfehlen.

This apartment is perfect for a stay on Lake Como. We did a week. Incredible views to wake up to every morning. Fresh croissants and pastries available to take away next door, a supermarket a few mins walk away and some lovely local restaurants. Lenno felt a lot less touristy than some of the places we visited on the ferry but we loved it for that. We also loved the “Beach Club” just 5 mins walk away where you can rent sun beds for the day and relax with cocktails and food late in to the evening. Our fav restaurant was Giglio, a few minutes walk away. Loved this place. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was within easy walking distance of the train and ferry stations and the old town center. The view from the patio and living room was lovely. One day was rainy, but the covered parts of the patio and open doors from the living room made for relaxing lake and mountain views, even in the rain. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was handy for cooking a couple dinners, and the washing machine was small but convenient for a couple quick loads. Communication and check-in went smoothly. Highly recommended.

Awesome spot! Stayed here for one night for our honeymoon trip. Great view, easy access to great restaurants, beautiful area to walk around, and super friendly hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! Alessia was a wonderful and responsive host. She met us at check in and was very flexible with our arrival time. She helped us to get settled and immediately offered us some lunch recommendations and even helped us set up a boat tour to go on during our trip. Definitely ask her about this! The space was spotless and exactly as pictured. Parking was easy and free. One thing to note is that you should be prepared for the steep hill you need to climb to get back to the apartment! Do not underestimate it! But overall this was a lovely stay with an amazing host with GORGEOUS lake views and a huge balcony.

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Serena's place is absolutely lovely, we felt right at home straight away. The accomodation is spotlessly clean and in a very pretty area that is easily accessed by car or public transport. there is a free night bus that runs up and down the road to Varenna between 7pm-Midnight which is very convenient. Perledo is a very tranquil place with fantastic views. We were checked in by Serena's father who was very helpful and then visited by Serena soon after. Both were very lovely and helpful and passed great knowledge of their local area. We were even lucky enough to get a free pass to Vezio castle which had some of the best views I've seen.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Valeria in Perledo! From start to finish, Fabio was an exceptional host—kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed, and even offered to drive us to the train station upon checkout if we couldn’t secure a taxi. That kind of hospitality really stands out! The apartment itself was perfect—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials. The view is truly breathtaking—honestly, the photos don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful it is in person. Fabio also made it easy for us to get to and from Varenna with helpful info on local buses and taxi options. There’s also a grocery store and a bar just a five-minute walk away, which was super convenient. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Casa Valeria for anyone visiting the Lake Como area!

Absolutely wonderful stay 😊 the flat and the views are absolutely gorgeous!! In a quieter area of lake Como, but it is an absolute gem. Still plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance, and a little shop as well. There is a wonderful bar/cafe a 10 min walk down the lake front, which is the best place I’ve had my morning coffee. Musso will now be our base for future visits to Lake Como - there are few tourists but a 10 min drive to Menaggio where you can catch the ferry to Como, Bellagio and Varenna (among others). We didn’t go to Como, but Varenna and Bellagio were each a 15 min boat ride. Simone was extremely helpful with recommendations, and also when we extended our trip for a few days. You must catch the sunrise on the balcony - it is magical, as is the whole place! Plenty of parking, and a little beach right infront of the apartment. Cannot recommend enough, and we will be back.
