Cabin vacation rentals in Abingdon

The best little get away! This cabin was perfect for our family and our golden doodle! There was so much room! We absolutely LOVED the hot tub, stream, and fit pit at the end of the day after near by Grandfather Mt & Tweetsie Railroad. The cabin was clean, well stocked, it felt like we were right at home. Jade was a GREAT host and we will definitely be back!

We had a girls weekend. Celebrating years of friendship. The home was perfect and exactly as described. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We all loved the hottub. Matthew was extremely responsive. We would book the house again for sure.

Even better than the photos! We spent most of our time on the patio with great seating, lovely view, hummingbirds visiting and in the fantastic hot tub! Our dogs LOVED the open grass to run in. The beds were comfy and cozy and the kitchen/bathroom were very well stocked.

We had a group get together in January and everything was great! The house listing is accurate, the views were beautiful and the trail up the mountain was really fun. The main living area was a great hangout spot. Only real wish was that the hot tub was closer up on the balcony or that the basement was finished so it's not a freezing trek from the hot tub. That's no reason not to rent this place, I will likely be back.

this place was the perfect getaway for the weekend my friends and i really enjoyed our time here, everything was clean and the view was amazing! hosts were responsive and very friendly even though we had a bit of a mix up. very grateful we got to stay at this beautiful property!

Wonderful cabin getaway weekend- driving up to the cabin can be treacherous in winter so 4WD a must. Walking inside the door opens up to a warm cozy cabin, fireplace and sleeping arrangements were super accommodating. Beautiful views and awesome games basement. Make sure you check hot tub temp as soon as you arrive!

Leon was wonderful! Great, quiet place, pleasant hottub, and big comfy beds with soft linens. We left a headlamp there and Leon went above and beyond to get it back to us. Should be arriving in the next couple days. Thanks for everything, Leon! I will stay here again if I'm ever in the area again. Love the ample taxidermy decor!

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was squeaky clean, charmingly decorated, and comfortable. We had everything we needed, even wood for the fire pit and chairs to put by the fire. Our puppy also had a great time playing in the large meadow by the creek. We hope to come back soon.

Believe it or not the photos do not do it justice. The property is serene, private and magical. The home has all of the modern amenities in a cute and cozy cabin. Squeaky clean spaces, well decorated and they thought of Everything!!! Even had dog blankets and dog shampoo!! We plan to reserve this spot again next year! We saw a deer and a wild turkey right in the front yard. We had a blast sitting by the campfire right outside the home! Our dogs loved it and we feel refreshed and rejuvenated. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Nice place to stay. Multiple homes in property made it easy for extra guest. Very responsive with any concerns during the stay.

My pup and I had a great quick stay. Beautiful view, yard to throw ball with the pup and a fire pit to relax around and look at the stars! Quick trip to multiple hikes. We hiked up to White Top on the AT. Beautiful!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the week of New Years. We wanted to get away from everything for the new year and celebrate with just the 2 of us. This property provided exactly what we were looking for. You can still see the effects from the hurricane but you can see how hard they are working to get everything back to normal but nonetheless the property is still beautiful and peaceful. We are already discussing to come back in the spring or summer to experience this beautiful property in the summer. I highly recommend anyone stay here.

We went for the rustic cabin experience and were pleasantly surprised by a heated toilet seat. With the devastating hurricane prior to our stay, Patricia graciously offered us a no charge cancellation. We appreciated the offer and constant updates and communication.

Awesome cozy and clean cabin☆~ Comfortable big beds. Amazing gas stove bakes way better than electric oven. Ceiling fans in every room, heaters, window ac. Nice roomy shower with a house hold size hot water tank for long hot showers. Nice views, especially over the kitchen sink. Cabin is solidly built and was like a tank holding strong in high winds and bad weather, not a creak, just the wind whistling by. Nicely maintained landscape and pretty mature trees. No one bothers you, this cabin is spaced far away from others, (but you're not secluded,) host doesn't hoover, peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay here. Was very cozy and private.

Daniels place was a beautiful get away would recommend to anyone that is looking for a weekend retreat. Daniel is very responsvie and check in/out is very flexible. Will be staying again when in the area.

Before arriving our host warned us of upcoming winter weather and even offered a refund. We offered to shovel ourselves and get snowed in as it was our only date to travel and they worked with us on arrival time. It snowed for 14 hours straight with 5-8 inches of accumulation. We never lost electricity, were warm, felt safe and protected with beautiful views. The only thing that would have made it better is if the house was all connected/the living room wasn’t locked from both sides (which was disclosed) so going from the kitchen to the master bedroom wasn’t such a production. Also, with no TV in either unit, we had been hopeful to find board games tucked away or some form of alternative entertainment. Such a very small price to pay for the beautiful, private and peaceful scenery though and we would recommend.

Bill was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed staying there and appreciated the lovely place to feel at home!

If you’re looking for a place to get away from it all then stay here. It’s a beautiful setting overlooking the river. We saw a bald eagle family. You definitely need to love the journey down this dirt road. The short way def weds 4x4 after rain and the longer way is just longer. I recommend shoes with traction to get to the dock and byob chairs for down there
