The Meadow House was the best! Peaceful. Beautiful. Simplistic. Pristine. Lara is very responsive to any questions you may have and is so cordial. Loved the added touch of a bag of coffee as a welcome gift. Highly recommend to stay here if you want to unwind & relax. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot!

My girlfriend and I had a great time spending the weekend at Tucked Inn and, for the most part, everything went as smoothly as expected! We arrived late, and there was a gentleman there starting some work on the property’s hot tub. We got in touch with Donnie using his phone, and my understanding is that the repairman was meant to arrive earlier in the day. I don’t necessarily believe it was any fault of the hosts that he was around. The drive up is straightforward as long as you follow the instructions the hosts provide; the path requires 1.5-2 miles of unmapped travel, so a GPS alone won’t quite get you there. Although I would definitely recommend traveling with a higher-clearance vehicle, my compact sedan made it up just fine with some caution and patience. Overall, Tucked Inn was a great space to unplug and unwind which is something we both really needed. It’s a very cozy and low-tech-vacation space I would hope we have the chance to come back to in the future!

Even better than the photos! We spent most of our time on the patio with great seating, lovely view, hummingbirds visiting and in the fantastic hot tub! Our dogs LOVED the open grass to run in. The beds were comfy and cozy and the kitchen/bathroom were very well stocked.

This was by far the most beautiful place we have ever been too. The views are of epic proportions the cabin was clean and comfortable. We didnt want to leave. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet getaway there is none better. The location is a good distance from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg or pigeon forge but thats what we were looking for, for our honeymoon. Suba's is excellent dining if looking for a wonderful meal.

Great, secluded location. We were lucky enough to be there at a time when no one else was on the big property, but even if we weren’t the only ones it still would have felt very secluded and private because of where the house is situated on the property. It was relaxing!

Came down to Trail Days in Damascus Virginia with my wife and two kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend!

We loved everything about our stay. The cabin was beautiful as well as the surrounding area. I loved the fire pit area outside. It was the perfect place to read a book and listen to the birds.

When I arrived at the Airbnb, it was easy to find and locate. The door code was correct and when I went inside and unpacked my belongings, everything was exactly as promised. The bathrooms were pristine. And the Airbnb itself was immaculate. All the amenities promised were there and the scenery was amazing. This was an ideal location for my trip. I was on an annual motorcycle trip, which I typically take to the mountains of Tennessee, West Virginia and Kentucky. Once I got into the Airbnb and got settled, I went outside to move my motorcycle and my motorcycle would not start. That being said, my host was beyond understandable. He was helpful. Extremely helpful actually, without his help I don’t know if I would’ve been able to get my situation resolved. He is a standup guy, honest, friendly, and everything you would want from a host. I ended up having to cut my trip short. Due to my mechanical issues. But I would highly recommend this Airbnb and I for one will certainly be going back-

Perfect getaway for us and our pups. So private and quiet. The walk we took to see 360 degree views was great. We saw a sunset and sunrise. So beautiful. The A Frame was perfect. Had everything we needed We saw cows deer turkey and even a bear Look forward to making another trip here

I had a lovely stay at Sheree’s cabin. It’s quiet and has a stunning view of the mountains, even going up the road there are lovely views. The cabin had everything I needed to cook meals. I also slept like a rock in the bed, and I tend to have a hard time sleeping in other beds. Sheree was also very sweet, responsive, and gave helpful instructions. Also West Jefferson has a very nice downtown area nearby. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

Perfect location and very relaxing! We had a great time, and really enjoyed the fire pit. Cabin is within walking distance from a lot of great places to eat and things to do in Damascus!

What a great cabin! Everything was clean, and the location is absolutely beautiful. Short drive to Grayson Highlands, Damascus, and there is fishing in Laurel Creek just 5 minutes from the Cabin! Will definitely stay again the next time we are down here!

What an amazing spot!! An incredible place to stay for a weekend getaway and to feel the peace of the outdoors. Definitely a more primitive staying experience, with a separate bathroom and small cabin, but it was exactly what we wanted. Just more of a camping/glamping experience. Definitely recommend!

The cabin was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend. It has everything you need for the perfect getaway to the mountains. Very private, beautiful views, peaceful and a porch that is just unbelievable. We loved the convenience of the gas logs. The cabin is very spacious and is beautifully decorated. Just minutes from downtown West Jefferson but still very private.

The cabin was awesome. It was just like a home away from home. Sitting on the porch swing listening to the creek at the bottom of the hill was so peaceful. Being within walking distance of the lake was fantastic. We didn't want to leave.

The place is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices, utensils, and everything we needed to cook. The location is peaceful and there's ample room in the living space. Can't wait to stay again.

We had a wonderful, early fall, weekend at this beautiful spot. Jason was responsive and informative about all aspects of the property. This tiny home looked exactly as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. The property is a gem! It is secluded and just what we hoped for with wonderful western views of the mountains. We were treated with two lovely sunsets during our stay while enjoying a campfire. The home is in a remote area of the NC mountains but just minutes to Elk Knob State Park and several streams for fishing. We spent Saturday in Todd, fishing on the South Fork of the New River which was about 30 minutes away. We hope to visit again. Really lovely place!

This place is very secluded, it’s just as the pictured online. The view from porch is amazing. We definitely recommend this home away from home to everyone.

Cozy Hideaway is the perfect name for Jackie's place. We selected Jackie's place based on location. I communicated with Jackie initially and she was very helpful. We needed to be near AT, as my husband was section hiking from Marion to Damascus. Location was very important and this was the perfect HOME BASE. With the Railroad Store/Cafe (highly recommend) across the street, and having a stocked kitchen allowed us to make our own meals - which was great! The main living area opens out to a larger "open air" screened room. WIFI was strong, which also allowed me to work remotely with no issues. If you are section hiking the AT or just want a peaceful get away, I highly recommend "Cozy Hideaway".

What a wonderful, peaceful environment to stay in! We loved the well-documented history of this house, as well the unique layout and feel of the home! It is surrounded by the amazing beauty and serenity of the surrounding property! Sitting on the front porch and back patio areas any time of day was so relaxing! The neighboring roads running along the beautiful river were also a great place to walk and bike. The house is in good proximity to a great variety of parks and recreational areas, as well as nearby towns and cities for dining or shopping. The kitchen is very well stocked for helping with food prep and meals. The owners and hosts were so welcoming and accommodating to us with personal touches and communication before and during our stay. They made us feel very comfortable and attended to, yet still free to enjoy our space and time. We would definitely consider returning to stay here in future and would highly recommend it to others visiting the area.
