Spacious self-contained room. Spectacular setting!

Large private double bedroom, with king size bed, ensuite with shower cubicle. The property is adjacent to the Wye Valley walk and approx 2 miles from Builth Wells. The bedroom is in a converted barn with its own access. Ideally located for walkers and easy access to the Royal Show Ground. Please note that the access to the house is via a fairly steep and narrow lane (last section is a track with loose gravel), not suitable for HGVs. We now provide super fast internet!! Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. The fire was perfect for a cosy night in, and the cottage was full of beautiful details that made it feel like home. Gina was a lovely and kind host, she was very helpful and welcoming and great to talk to! We would love to go back!

Staying here was an absolute pleasure. Everything was clean and as described. The hosts were very polite and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the weekend and we will definitely be coming back.

Great stay and amazing surroundings! We’ve been upset we had to shorten our stay, as it was so cozy and close to the nature, that we could stay there much longer. Owner is super friendly person. Place is very quiet and with beautiful views on the mountains. Worth to go and worth to stay! Definitely want to go back :)

We booked this stay for us and our dogs, we met the hosts in the evening and they were very friendly and gave us recommendations for what to do the next day. Like something out if a fairy tale, the Summerhouse is an incredible folly and property hidden away in the forest at one with nature with privacy and peace. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed ourselves so much we never ventured from the Estate except to ealk the beautiful surroundings. The house has everything you need with Welshpool and good shopping on your doorstep if you need supplies. The resident pheasant was a beautiful surprise each time he visited for snacks and we even saw a pair of large owls. For a break away from the pressures of work and life The Summerhouse offers an amaxing environment for solitude and relaxation. Thank you x
