Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Set in the stunning countryside of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, this is a perfect base for active breaks or just relaxing. Walking and cycling trails start at the door. Lochs Achray and Venachar are within walking distance, spectacular Loch Katrine is just 10 minutes away by car while historic Stirling is within easy reach. Upstairs are 2 bright, ensuite bedrooms (one standard UK double, one king or twin). Downstairs is an open-plan living space, well-equipped kitchen and wet room.

The Stable is a ground floor semi detached studio cottage situated in a private 40 acre estate with panoramic views of the Lake of Menteith, private covered porch, gas barbecue, freesat TV, DVD player, docking station and White Company linen. We have a corporate membership of Forrest Hills Hotel and Spa (c12 minutes drive from the cottage) which allows our guests access to their swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Spa and billiards room at no cost apart from individual spa treatments).

Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

Cois Loch Lodge is a unique lodge situated in a peaceful setting with magnificent views over Loch Lomond and the hills beyond. Nestled at the end of a private road between Drymen and Balmaha, it has its own private parking and enclosed garden. French doors open out onto a fabulous decking area furnished with a table and garden sofas. A few steps down from the deck sits a tastefully furnished Scandinavian BBQ hut. No matter the weather, you can still enjoy a BBQ!

Enjoy this gorgeous setting either from the warmth and comfort of the open plan lounge or from your own private deck with extraordinary views over Dumgoyne and the Campsie Hills. You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.

The guest house has a double bed with en suite with a separate living area, with sofa, TV and table for 2. The sofa pulls down to provide a small bed, but we recommend this is for a 1 or 2 small children, or if someone can't sleep/partner snores! There is a kitchenette with breakfast provisions for your stay. A wood fired hot tub and private gated garden with stunning rural views is for your sole use. License no ST000931F
