Very well equipped & an ideal base for rest & activities. Just a few mins walk to Castle Menzies, the Ailean Chraggan bar restaurant, fantastic walks, River Tay, forest tracks etc. 2 min drive/easy 20 min walk to Aberfeldy for shops, fuel, cafes, food. 5-star, helpful (but v unobtrusive) host!

The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. There is a spacious super kingsize (or twin) bedroom, spectacular living space, modern kitchen & shower room, private entrance, parking & outside seating area. We really hope you enjoy your stay at Dundonnachie House, the house was formerly used as offices and we have lovingly restored it back to a home. The house is located right in the centre of Aberfeldy, with all amenities within walking distance. There is an abundance of Bars, Restaurants, Coffee Shops and boutique shops to be enjoyed. The first Sunday of every month(April - Oct), from 10am - 2pm there is the Aberfeldy Farmers Market selling a mix of food, art and craftsmanship.
