Silvie's Cottage is a true delight! Welcoming, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and feels like a home from home with lots of extra touches. Off road parking in a lovely residential street which is only a short stroll into Church Stretton and a choice of walks straight from the door with no need to use a car. The garden is lovely and adds to the overall atmosphere of a warm welcoming cottage. We loved our few days stay, would highly recommend and plan to return again....hopefully soon! Hayley is the perfect host, accepted my request at short notice, very friendly and responsive. The Annex is very well equip has everything you need to make your stay very comfortable, decorated to a high standard, squeaky clean warm and cosy with lots of space....a real Gem! What an absolute gem!! The location of the lodge is fantastic, beautifully peaceful countryside with only the birds and local farm animals in sight and earshot. The photos really do not do it justice, the feel inside is super cosy and well equipped. Outside is on another level - the views over the fields, private hot tub and sauna as well as various different seating areas make it stand out. We had planned to walk to the local pub but we were having such a relaxing time we decided not to leave at all! We had asked for the hot tub to be warmed for when we got there, the only thing I will say is bring your fire making abilities with you as you'll need them! Michelle was a great host, she was very responsive both prior to the stay and during, and met us there to let us in, nothing was too much trouble. The return trip is already in discussions!

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

Wow what a beautiful place so peaceful just what we wanted the hut was immaculate with everything we needed for our stay the milk , Welsh cakes and Prosecco are such a nice touch! Hot is really lovely and very clean and so nice to robes to use ! We can’t fault the place . Andy & Rosie are fantastic hosts they have the most beautiful home we were so sad 😞 to leave we also loved the cats 🐈‍⬛ thanks again we will definitely be coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Could not recommend this place enough. Loved the views of the mountains. We all loved the outside bath. Cabin immaculately clean and tidy. No WiFi, just brilliant! Wanted to get away from it all. Local pubs and walks fantastic. Was looking at local Ley lines in the area. Twin valley ley lines and pilgrimage. Local medieval churches stunning. Laura an excellent host. Cider and Apple juice on site with shop. Lovely to to have a welcome note for kids and me. Kids loved the outside bath and also the bunk bed. And very accommodating with same day/late booking. Thanks again.

The Stables was a wonderful place to relax. The location is really peaceful and beautiful, we enjoyed the woods and watching the bunnies playing in the field. It was very well equipped with good showers and comfy beds, and lovely place to spend time. Excellent, welcoming hosts. Would highly recommend it!

Just home from a lovely couple of nights away- 2 families, four children ranging from 4-14 and one dog. The house was immaculate, really well equipped and beautiful. The space worked well for two families and different aged children. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen space/ dining was fabulous and social. Very grateful for the milk and cake on arrival, useful items such as dishwasher tablets etc and the dog was delighted with her doggy chocolate bar! Great location- minutes from Hay. Came to visit some family who live locally and will most likely be back. Thank you. 🙏

Would absolutely recommend to friends and family. My Wife and I stayed in one of the one bedroom apartments. We were able to find decent overnight parking. I would probably suggest booking parking w/ Sally beforehand as spaces do go quickly. Had the pleasure of meeting Sally as I was heading out to grab coffee. Such a pleasant and warm host. She provided some good suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. A great getaway.

I would strongly recommend this home stay. It had everything we were looking for in a day trip with our family and kids. There was self-check-in and check-out, and the house was fully equipped with everything we could imagine in a country house. We felt like we experienced the English countryside during our stay. The pictures don’t do justice. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, and the home itself was top-notch, especially the decor. Barry did an amazing job with the interiors. Barry was great at communication, and the detailed descriptions were really helpful! We would like to thank Barry for keeping the house the way it should.

Lovely , well equipped cottage - suited our family of five.( including 6 year old and toddler) . When we arrived they kindly installed a stair gate. Children adored play area and animals - especially Oscar the dog and the guinea pigs. There is lots of running around space. Enjoyed our trips out to the Churnet Railway and Ilam. An enjoyable five days

We felt very welcomed with homemade cake, milk and Easter treats. The accommodation was clean, cosy and very peaceful. The kitchen is equipped enough to cook in, also lots of little items provided (soap, kitchen roll, tea, coffee etc) We will definitely be back. It was wonderful.

We’ve just got back from a lovely few days away. The area the pod was in was very clean & we had a lovely walk around the marina. The pod had everything we needed for our short stay and we especially loved the hot tub! Overall we would recommend this trip and would definitely be back again soon! Early check in was also a perfect added bonus!

We had a wonderful stay at Artisan Hall. It really is a special place that is both homely yet also full of character that fills you with awe and wonder as you move between all the different, tastefully decorated rooms. There was ample hot water. and the property is also kept lovely and warm. The beds were all extremely comfortable and the layout worked well for us with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. It is peacefully located at the end of a no through road opposite the church. We enjoyed using the croquet set and sitting on the comfortable seating outside in the glorious sunshine. We'd love to return again in the future.

We had an amazing stay! Frances was super helpful and responsive with our queries. Unfortunately we were unable to use the hot tub due to unexpected weather and the well dried up, however Frances gave a generous refund for this even though it couldn’t be helped and wasn’t their fault. We would absolutely stay again, in fact we are thinking to book again next year. Everything was amazing and very well thought out! Frances even supplied a high chair on request.
