Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. This railway was established in 1899 and closed in 1945. This railway line is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for up to 6 people. There is free parking space, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

Vacation home in nature reserve and forests in Gasselte

Vacation home on the property of a farmhouse with lots of privacy. It is located near the woods where there is a beautiful swimming pool, hiking and cycling trails. Gasselte is known for its many mountain bike routes. You look out over the countryside from the terrace, and in the summer the sheep walk with their lambs in the meadow. There is also a sweet dog named Sjors, who you may also come across. In the spring, a small café will be opened, which is open on Saturday from 4 p.m. to about 11 p.m.

In the cottage you will find a toilet, shower is within walking distance.

By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.
