We were in the accommodation in May, the garden is beautiful at this time of year, there was a lot of blooming wild garlic and all kinds of wild herbs. The trees were in full bloom. The garden is fantastic. For that reason alone, the accommodation is absolutely recommended.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

Always a pleasure to stay at this location. We will return!

We had beautiful days in the apartment. Multiple seats are available to enjoy the beautiful garden. Space, peace and the birds! the kitchen is well equipped. Norbert is very nice and helpful. toppie!

Great place to relax for a weekend. Everything you need was there. Excellent breakfast, served by Mick, at the time that proved useful for us. We walked at the Dwingelderveld and went to Museum De Proefkolonie. Interesting! Would be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful time with Joke. The cottage is very nice, high quality and cozy. It has everything you need and the kitchen is also very well equipped. There was a small grill on the terrace that we could use. The garden is beautifully landscaped with plenty of seating. Here you can enjoy the sun and the tranquility. Breakfast was very lovingly served, delicious and varied! Thanks for that! There are smaller towns and cities in the area. Groningen is only about 30 minutes away by car. We particularly liked the proximity to the Drentsche Aa National Park (about 20 minutes by car). There you can take short and long hikes in beautiful countryside. We highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely be back :)

Super friendly host and a fantastic stay: it felt good and like home. But then with a sense of more freedom (large garden, no direct neighbors, open fields). Overcomplete stay (really thought of everything and in abundance). Highly recommended and if possible again!

We had a nice night and had a nice night. The beds were lovely and the house had everything we needed. 1x accidentally went out of power, but the host responded very quickly so we had power again within minutes. Was also indicated not to turn on the stove and coffee at the same time but we had not read yet. The cottage looks cozy inside and out. We enjoyed it.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The location is perfect. Close to the city and yet on the countryside. However, it is useful to have your own car with you. The accommodation was spacious and everything you need is present. You also have a nice view of the garden and outside there is a nice sofa. Communication with Elly and Jan went well. We would definitely come back here.

Had a nice short stay at Arnoud's. The car stuff felt in the right place for this space. Bed slept well and everything went smoothly. I'm coming back here!

We were warmly welcomed by Judith and she explained everything to us. It's a great little house. Everything you need is there. Here you can go for a nice walk or do something by bike. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back again and again.

We found the apartment very neat and clean. In the small kitchen there is everything needed for 2 people to cook and eat. The bed is soft and cozy. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained, we felt very comfortable. 2 dogs and 3 cats became very intimate over time, but never disturbed. Only food should not be left unattended on the garden table. We were allowed to meet Henriette as a very open, friendly host. Basically, she was very in the background, so as guests we never felt disturbed in our privacy. But she was very helpful with questions or requests. There was only one minus point. The apartment can only be ventilated through the door, and since we were allowed to spend the hottest day in 100 years in Drente, we would have liked a window to open.

Had a lovely stay with 8 friends! In advance already contact about how we wanted the beds and on arrival a friendly welcome in a beautifully arranged and very clean house. Very complete with a lot of things thought of, time and attention is given to it. The late check out on Sunday at 5pm was also a luxury. Also quick response during stay. Would definitely recommend it!

Centrally located neat and beautifully decorated accommodation. It's great that you can put the car in the garage under the apartment. Everything is within walking distance and can be reached in max. 15-20 minutes. Eduard gave us a lot of tips about the city and the restaurants. We gratefully used that. There is also a supermarket nearby, convenient if you prefer to have breakfast in the apartment. The café around the corner is a cozy neighborhood pub where you can immediately have a conversation with the castle and city residents. Good to know: there is no water point in the room and to reach the bathroom and toilet you have to go one floor down to the (partially shared) corridor. The latter two are tastefully and practically furnished, so that compensates for "the distance". I'd bring a bathrobe next time. For the rest, great stay and recommended!!

I'm very excited about everything: the space, Wim and Els, the surrounding area and not to forget, the lookout tower! I will definitely come back.

We enjoyed the beautiful cottage, with all the comforts, with beautiful wide views, complete privacy. The immediate surroundings have beautiful nature and within a short distance you can also visit the hunebed museum and camp Westerbork. There is something for everyone!

Fantastic place! Wonderful natural/garden. Fantastic hostesses! Cozy cottage on the pool. Place to sit outside and a fire pit. Breakfast was good. Cottage clean, I think that's important to me. Centrum 5 min. Groningen 20 min. We had a good time.

The apartment is beautiful and in a very quite area. We enjoyed our stay a lot. It is big enough to fit 6 people comfortably. And there was a very cuddly cat which was awesome.
