Family-friendly vacation rentals in A Guarda

The facilities are magnificent . We were a group of 14, 4 couples and 6 young people, and we all liked it very much. The house is even better than what it looks in the pictures and there is no shortage of anything. We took advantage of the swimming pool, barbecue, enjoyed a lot of outdoor space and we still took walks in the area that is very beautiful and interesting.

Very cozy and thought out with all the care and detail: from the quality of the beds to the robes, towels and hygiene products offered.

Very good welcome from Ana Maria & José, who were also available throughout the stay if needed Idyllic setting: very large swimming pool with a superb garden (olive trees, lemon tree, ...) that made everyone happy Numerous games available: pétanque, ping pong and games for the pool Beautiful and spacious quiet character house, halfway between the mountain and sea. All bedrooms are spacious and well appointed and even for water features In short, we spent two weeks of awesome vacation in your charming house and we thank you very much for it. The beautiful and pure place in the forest, for those who like to contemplate nature. We also love the pool. The hostess was very attentive. Thanks Manuela for seeing us again!

The villa is incredible, breathtaking from the moment you step in. The photos cannot do it justice. We only made two trips out (apart from food shopping) because we had no need or want to leave. The space is fantastic and every room is beautiful. If you are interested in sports it caters for everything there is an indoor games hall which has almost everything you could desire. This includes the tennis racquets for the court. The pool is wonderful and very relaxing - if you’re lucky you’ll get visits from the swallows as we did. As mentioned by the host and a few reviews you will need a car to get there and to get around but it’s a great way to explore the area when you do decide to go out. We ran around the area, did some hill sprint sessions and also some HIIT sessions within the villa ground. You can do everything. There are also lots of great beaches around the area some of which are suggested in Fernando’s welcome book and one of the ones we visited. Fernando and Pedro were great hosts very helpful and always at the end of the phone should we require anything. Relaxed, helpful and humorous. You are also provided with a welcome book which has lots of information about things you can do, where you can go and how to do them! 5* all the way. A perfect place for a getaway with friends and I imagine family too. I don’t doubt we will be back to visit in the future.

We had a pleasant stay with my family and friends in this beautiful house. The good weather, the large swimming pool, the cleanliness and shops nearby make this place available as well as the kindness of Mrs. Teresa Costa who welcomed us very warmly, very smiling and available for anything. Antonio's airbnb has everything that's needed and it was clean. Antonio was very eager to help us a lot with recommandations for places to eat, surf and visit the area.

the stay was great, we were not lucky with time to enjoy the pool. the walls have very low parts, the dogs end up jumping, and in our opinion, there should be a protection behind the spraying machines.

It has been a great few days, the house is just as it is in the photos, you can see that they strive to make everything well, from the garden that was very cared for, to the kitchenware that was very complete,we went with a dog and had a great time, it met all expectations.

We rented this house for ten people and we had a fantastic weekend! The house was spotless and even nicer live than the pictures. The pool area is simply fantastic, apart from being very well thought out to enjoy it. The pool was super clean and well cared for, they also left us some pool towels in case we needed. The fantastic rooms and bathrooms, the kitchen great and super spacious....a ten of the truth. The common spaces are multiple and very spacious so we could all be together comfortably. Apart from the hostess was super friendly and flexible with us at all times, so thank you very much. Wonderful.

It was wonderful the week we spent in this apartment in Cangas. Everything was very clean, well connected, with several nearby coves that were an authentic wonder. A lidl 5 minutes walk away that makes it very easy when shopping. In addition, Sara was close, giving us several recommendations of activities to do and places to visit. I would definitely repeat!

A perfect quiet place for a surf retreat on Cabedelo beach. Very close to the beach, with several options for walking trails. Marta is an excellent host. Very friendly, helpful, versatile and proactive. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Luís' placec as a group of 6 people over a weekend and we were blown away by it! We have used AirBnB as a group for weekend stays for many years now and this might have been the best house we've been to yet. Clean, extremely spacious (more adequate for around 10 people, really), nice pool, with plenty of amenities and little bonuses (such as the very nice small "locker room" by the pool and the small yard surrounding it). The house is fully equipped with the essentials, the WiFi reaches every room and the appliances are modern and well-kept (save for the TV but it's still nice and more than good enough). We had a lovely stay, a great check-in (Ângela was very nice and warm, made sure we got to know the house well) and we definitely want to return in the near future!

Beautiful villa with everything you would need to set up home from home. Walking distance to the square if shops, supermarket, coffee shops and bar. Market every Saturday. The villa is spacious and modern with good WiFi, great outdoor space and games room. Host was charming and most helpful. Would recommend and will be returning.

The most charming house with lots of character within walking distance to the beach and restaurants in Afife. The house is beautiful and so is the garden and pool area. Dulce and her daughter Joana were really helpful with any requests and information needed. The house was great for kids and even came with toys and books to keep them entertained (1&3 year old). We would love to come back!

Oh we loved our stay! So peaceful and relaxing just what we needed! Maria’s place was so very clean, and her mom was so sweet! We were left a bag of fresh tomatoes and apples from her garden. We enjoyed cooking in the equipped kitchen, washing machine is a bonus, hung our clothes to dry, and soaked in the rays in the beautiful surroundings. Very attentive, lovely hosts. Would highly recommend! Thank you so very much!

If you're looking for peace and serenity, go for it. Secluded at an altitude of 800m in unspoiled nature, you will have a breathtaking slideshow. You will see wild animals during your walks or 2 steps from your accommodation. 15 min from the Ponte de Lima, you will find everything you will need. Rosa and her husband are extremely kind and we had the opportunity to make us offer local specialties when we woke up. The accommodation is very well equipped. A big thank you rosa for this great vacation. Small downside, access is not the simplest but with the habit it goes on its own. Celine Julien Lucie and Lena
