Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in 5th arrondissement

Where to even start! Cyril is an AMAZING host and such an extremely kind and joyous person to talk to! We had great communication with check in/out, as well as he gave us recommendations as to what to do nearby when our original plans fell through! The kitchen was fully stocked with fresh juice, jams, and butter, as well as breakfast delivered to us each morning! This has been my favorite airbnb stay of all time, and really made for such a local feel to our trip. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in AIX; my fiancé and I had such a great time and can’t recommend Cyril’s place enough!

We enjoyed two nights at Catherine’s charming place on this dreamy, lush property. Catherine was incredibly responsive and sweet, and she went out of her way to make us comfortable (and even brought us coffee and croissants when she stopped by the boulangerie!). This was a very peaceful getaway in the busy city of Marseille.

Privileged and very quiet location in the heights of the city, ideal for crisscrossing the different districts of Marseille and 10 min from the Corniche (sea) by bike. Thanks to Yann and Denis for the beautiful addresses. We will be back with pleasure and recommend 100%

Very comfortable, modern, very peaceful and quiet - but what stood out most was the incredible views, of the sea with homes and trees on a lovely slope, and the beauty and tranquility of the garden and pool area. Would definitely stay here again!

It is an ideal starting point for doing many different things. You can quickly get to the city by bus, as well as to the city beach or to one of the starting points for hiking in the Calanques. It is also very well located to drive quickly by car to Cassis or La Ciotat. The accommodation is also very quiet and pleasant. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Lucile and Jocelyn's was truly fantastic. Their Airbnb is a real gem: atmospheric, cozy and top located. Lucile and Jocelyn are incredibly hospitable and are always ready to help or give tips, you immediately feel welcome. The location is ideal: everything is easily accessible and there are plenty of nice restaurants and other amenities nearby. It is the ideal place to completely unwind and really get into the holiday mood. I would recommend everyone to stay here :)

We had a truly amazing stay at this accommodation and completely fell in love with the house, the garden, and the entire area. It’s located in a safe and quiet neighborhood in Marseille, and there are few places I’ve stayed where the reality is even more beautiful than the photos. It’s hard to put into words just how stunning the house and garden are. The home has been lovingly renovated, and you can really tell that every piece of furniture and detail was chosen with care and great taste. Each room has its own unique charm, the kitchen is modern and perfectly equipped for cooking, and the garden even has a small pool and shower where you can refresh. Penelope was a wonderful host – always available, incredibly helpful, and full of great local tips. If you appreciate thoughtful design, attention to detail, high-quality amenities, proximity to the sea, and cozy evenings in the garden, this is the perfect place for you.

But what really made our stay exceptional was the owner. She was incredibly warm, always smiling, very caring and full of good advice. She really helped make our experience unforgettable. The apartment is very cozy, and we especially loved the terrace — it’s a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning. Check-in and check-out were very smooth; the host provided clear and helpful instructions. The location is great — you can walk to the city center (the area is a bit hilly, but manageable), and the beautiful Longchamp Park is nearby.

Really attentive and proactive host, checking everything was OK during our stay- probably the best I've had on Airbnb - and clear instructions for checking in and out. Easy to access with a late arrival, as the keys are in a lock box. All exactly as per photos and very comfortable. Walkable in about 20 mins from main train station, if you are taking the airport bus and very close to the Old Port which we wanted. I would agree with someone else's comment about the 2nd bedroom loft space - you might need to be careful with the steps up for young children, same with elderly people but you can see the steps in the photos and you can easily swap bedrooms if you need. Definitely would stay here again, highly recommended.

My stay at Yolanda's apartment went really well. Photos and description match. The beautiful terrace is a real plus. There are plants, seating, a deckchair and garlands! I would definitely recommend staying there. Perier Metro Station is two streets away, and buses also serve the beaches. Thank you sincerely Yolanda for your responsiveness, kindness and sympathy. Would love to come back:)

We enjoyed our stay at Stéphanie's place. It feels like a calm oasis in a very busy and cool area. The well designed studio has everything you need. The area has a lot to offer, from cool shops to local bakeries and cool restaurants. Stéphanie shared some nice local suggestions and we appreciated that she was very flexible regarding our early arrival. Your perfect base in the centre of Marseille.

I would highly recommend Isabelle's place, no complaints! Isabelle is very responsive and all communications were clear. All amenities are nickels, you can book without a second thought. Thank you for hosting us 😊

The apartment was big and bright and I don't think the pictures do it justice, much nicer than the photographs. The balcony was out of this world, very large and with the best view down to the sea, the sunsets were beautiful too being so high up. I can only say good things about the apartment and would definitely stay there again and have already told friends what a fabulous place it is to stay in Marseille. Very quick to the harbour by bus outside the building or metro just across the road.

Couldn't have hoped for a better place to explore Marseille for a couple of nights. A great location near to cafes and amenities, but still peaceful in the apartment. We'll be back for sure!

Christelle was a warm and caring host. The studio is well-equipped and the view from the terrace is a real pleasure. The accommodation may be a bit far from the station and tourist spots but nothing insurmountable with organization.

Great location! Easy walk to the city waterfront. Gated parking right at the complex. Jean-Luc was so nice and accommodating with check-in and check-out. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The view is phenomenal! We will definitely return! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Odile is an impeccable host. Communication was very easy and enjoyable throughout our stay. The apartment is conveniently located, close to the beach, the subway, as well as many restaurants and cafes. In addition, the apartment was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place!

It is perfect place to stay in Marseille, beautiful surroundings with beach nearby. Everything was clean. I would highlight the seating on balcony - very pleasant. There is bus station (10 minutes from apartment) from which you can go to the city centre.

Very nice centrally located apartment with great amenities. Although the apartment is right next to the ferry port, it is pleasantly quiet in the apartment. Bonus points for the very comfortable bed. Manuel was always available and welcomed us warmly :)

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance to the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful swimming opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

Very nice flat, close to bus links for the centre and within easy walk of Plage des Catalans and the Jardin du Pharo. Quirky style and lovely views. A Carrefour on the corner nearby. Apartment block has a concierge. Things to be aware of: the flat is on the 11th floor and the lift can take a while to arrive. There were also a few small black insects in the kitchen and bathroom - probably inevitable for this type of block, the flat itself was tidy and clean. A good visit
