The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.

You can also visit the cities of Assen or Emmen. For the little ones, there is an animation program during the school holidays and a toddler pool with a Hunebed slide. Our cozy house is located on 't Wildryck, on the outskirts of the beautiful nature reserve 't Drents-Friesche Wold. Plenty of cycling, mountain biking trails and nice hiking. The nice swimming pool or grab a terrace in the nicest Drenthe villages of Dwingeloo and Diever! Visit Wildlands Adventure Zoo or the Shakespeare Theater!
