It was a lovely place for a Christmas holiday, surrounded by mountains and with a lake nearby. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

This is a great house, with a beautiful view and wonderful rooms & terraces. Every detail is present in the kitchen, and we really enjoyed all the amenities in the house: the fireplace, the sauna, the bath, the hammock, the bbq, the family games. It is definitely a place to relax in total peace and serenity. We found it hard to say goodbye!

What a beautiful and quiet stay we had. Just got what we booked. A house where you can feel right at home. Alex and Sabine are nice hosts and engaged. Responded back right away. We were grateful for this stay and highly recommend this place for the people who like to walk and want to end the day quietly and homely in a well-kept cottage where everything is at hand.

Check-in and checkout were straightforward, a lot of energy was put into the decor of the accommodation, and you can tell. 👍

We were kindly received and immediately received a lot of information about the region. There was coffee, water, tea, etc. ready for us. The cottage was bigger than expected and was very clean. The kitchen is also very well equipped. The few questions we had were also answered directly.

Welcoming welcome by Heinz and his wife. They obviously love dogs. Our dog was enthusiastically greeted by them. The cottage is very spacious and equipped with all the comforts. It's lovely and quiet. The area is beautiful. Even from Büdesheim, beautiful walks have already been set out. There is a nice bakery within walking distance with also a cafeteria. We really enjoyed it. Maybe next year again.

If someone loves and needs peace and nature, they will find it here at the Heidberghof… with a view of grazing horses… i have never been able to observe a lively and beautiful little stallion… on 2 consecutive days… repeatedly dropping his horse droppings in the same place on the paddock… after he had previously sniffed it… until a large pile was formed there… So the Heidberghof gives you pure nature…

We had a family vacation there. The many play opportunities, the barn, the trampoline and the chickens were great in front of all the kids. The house is well furnished and well kept. Christoph greeted us in a very friendly way and showed us everything. He was always ready to answer questions and help out. Excursions for hiking, floating and in the Eagle and Wolfspark have rounded it all off. We had a lovely time there and will certainly be back.

This was such a beautiful location to stay. We got blessed with great weather and enjoyed sunbathing and BBQs in the large open space at the rear of the property. There were nearby stores (Lidl, Aldi) available which was great for self catering. The space was clean and cosy for our stay. With plenty of utensils and facilities for our guests. The check in and check out process was stress free, and the owners were quick to reply to any enquiry’s made. Thank you so much for hosting.

Really great house. We spent Easter weekend here comfortably with 6 adults and a dog. We didn't lack anything. The terrace landscape is huge and beautiful. There are beautiful, numerous hiking options in the surrounding area.

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

The apartment is super lovingly furnished, you feel right at home and have everything you need. I felt comfortable from second 1. ❤️ Also super recommended for dog owners, you are very rural and can go for a great walk. At the same time, you can still get to Cologne very quickly by car. Perfect location for activities. :)

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! The house was absolutely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was superbly equipped so we could easily prepare our meals. Also the bathroom was modern and comfortable, and the hot tub was a real luxury that made the stay even more enjoyable. The TV was also of good quality and provided a great way to relax. The only small downside was that there were no shutters. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend a stay!

Ruth offers great service. A top host. The kitchen is completely complete, even with oil, a pack of spaghetti. She had a bottle of bubbles and came to bring us eggs. Great place with our dog. You walk right into the fields to let it out and an end to walk. Recommend.

My brother and I were in the apartment for a weekend, we were both very satisfied and we lacked nothing :)

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. Had a fantastic weekend. Center with large playground, bakery and restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful garden and ideal for (small) children

If you are looking for peace and contemplation, this is the place to be. The romantic cottage has old-fashioned features such as shutters and a fireplace, but also has the fastest Internet and a bathtub. The best of both worlds and it is a pleasure to watch Eva with her animals! I'm sure I'll go there again.

Great holiday home, perfect as starting point for hiking or cycling. The apartment and view even are better than the pictures suggest!

We booked over the Easter holidays. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area. The place was very clean, everything was intact. The hosts very friendly. We felt very comfortable there. From there, we were quickly in the center by car. It took us just under half an hour by car to get to Phantasialand. We had a nice time and would book the place again at any time. In the village itself there are shops. We were in the neighboring village. Eat a great Italian.

Super nice landlady and great house! We were there with a larger group and everything was fine. We felt welcome at Amber's place right away. The house was clean and there was everything you need. We had a great time. Thank you!
