We stayed at their place for two nights . We have been travelling for two and half months . This place was home away from home . Beautifully decorated. All the amenities which one would need during vacation or during long travel . Most importantly the hosts are always available to communicate. We requested for early check in and late check out . They were gracious enough to say yes to our request . Wish we had more time to enjoy the place , Sip morning coffee and listen to chirping birds . Hope we come back some day . Raquel's place was great. It is conveniently located right next to a huge mall that you can walk to. Air conditioning was a great differentiator that people often think is not necessary in Guatemala but seems like a must during the summer months. Raquel is definitely one of the best hosts I've dealt with and is wiling to help at any time. Will definitely be back.

I really liked the house, it was close to what we needed, shopping center, bank, restaurants, cafe, bakery, supermarket. A little traffic but it was very useful, a spacious house. I think it would be perfect if it had air conditioning but the rest was fine. The power went out a couple of times, but I think it's normal there. Mr. Jose always responded in a timely manner, thank you. I think we'll be back

I absolutely loved this stay and I would have loved to stay longer than a week. everything was freshly laundered, super clean and put together. it was an excellent apartment to work remotely from: however, I do want to disclaim that the Wi-Fi was extremely spotty and would drop me at random moments throughout the day. the TV's Netflix connection was perfect though and never gave any issues, weirdly enough. I believe that the Wi-Fi might be too low power for remote work, especially if you have frequent video calls. That said, the surroundings are beautiful and extremely walkable. you are within walking distance to many amenities and great restaurants and cafes. I highly recommend ATTE café for its quirky environment and delicious coffee; the baristas are also extremely sweet and nice to talk to. overall, I would love to stay here again but it might have to bring my own internet dongle.

This apartment is a hidden gem. Whenever I travel to Guatemala, I book it. Lorena is an excellent host and the apartment is spacious, clean, safe and comfortable. The only drawback is not having a 24-hour parking lot accessible, however everything else is impeccable. The price is in line with what you get. I recommend it!
