The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of summer '24 - lake temporarily drained for long term repairs*. NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. NO PETS or SMOKING - strict policy.

This is a great home base for adventures in both Henderson and Transylvania counties. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. A stay at our cabin is a great opportunity to enjoy rural life in Western NC. Pretty Place Chapel is about 35-40 minutes away.

Wow this is an amazing place! The views are breathtaking! One of the cleanest places we have stayed in and they have thought of everything! Come prepared to relax and enjoy the quietest and amazing scenery. Great host and we enjoyed every minute! Our Family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. Highly recommended!

We had a great time staying at Jennifer’s place. It was convenient location and great for our little pup with a great fenced in back yard. The place was clean and very comfortable. There were nice personal touches like coffee for mornings, fresh flowers, snacks and a well equipped kitchen. Perfect for two and would stay here again.
