Nilay and Sencer's appartment is very nice, clean and having a local spirit. We were welcomed warmly by Sencer. The tram and bus stops are very close: less than 5 minutes away and you would need 10-15 minutes to reach Galata. If you arrive in Istanbul by car - there's a paid parking nearby that can be used for 15 EUR/24h. We also enjoyed a lot our visit to Sencer's Pizzarotti restaurant, where we had the pleasure to taste his local pizza inventions and have a conversation.

The apartment is a lovely first-floor flat located in a central neighborhood, close to the train station that connects directly to the city center. Despite its central location, it is very quiet at night with no noise. It has a washing machine and a drying rack, as well as a good internet connection. The place was very clean. I would happily recommend it to anyone planning to visit Istanbul.

The house was as it appeared in the pictures. The host was also helpful and kind. If I come again, it will be one of the places I would consider staying.

Mr. Burak greeted me at the door and always answered all my questions beforehand. The house was just like in the photos. It was cleaned and had clean supplies for daily needs. In terms of location, you can easily get to Marmara and so on. Everything you can meet your needs is located in the vicinity. Mr. Burak also helps with check-in and checkout. It can be easily preferred.

I cannot thank Hamza enough for his hospitality, good spirit and kindness. Right from the start, he was so helpful, very responsive, flexible and super friendly. The apartment is beautiful, well furnished, very clean and has everything you need to feel comfortable. The location is amazing as well, true that it is a bit far from some main attractions but it’s so well connected and central. There are so many restaurants and shopping centers around it too. The area is very safe and clean. All in all, we were very happy with the apartment and our host. 100% recommend!

It already looked perfect, but in reality it was even more so, it definitely exceeded our expectations!The house is beautiful, large, very clean, with attention to the smallest details. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to feel at home and even more, the bathroom is perfect, great shower, hot water without problems, bedroom equipped with every comfort, air conditioning both in the living room and in the bedroom, washing machine, drying rack, towels, soaps. In the living room there is a large TV. The whole house is super bright, it is divided into two floors. The surrounding area is very quiet, a nice place, safe and pleasant, there is a shopping mall nearby with cafes, restaurants, ATMs, supermarket, everything you might need. There is a small comfortable outdoor space. It's easy to find transportation and taxis. The host is kind and helpful. You will want to live in this house, don't waste any more time, it will always be in our hearts. Thank you

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully restored historic home! The house is full of charm and character, with a perfect balance of spacious communal areas for everyone to enjoy and enough bathrooms to comfortably accommodate a large group. The neighborhood is stunning and well-connected, with easy access to both the old and new parts of the city via ferry and tram. We had a really nice time in Riza’s and Onur’s house. It is next to so many cafes and the commute is very easy with tram and ferry stations within 5-minutes walk. We were a family of 8 and had enough space for everyone. The house is well-equipped and had everything we needed. It does have many stairs inside and particularly the ones to the top floor are quite steep, but the hosts were very forthcoming about it and made sure we knew about it before confirming the booking. The communication was great and any small technical issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. My daughter is into arts and she particularly enjoyed various pieces of art in the house. Great stay and many thanks to the hosts!

The space was more than enough for our group, and the bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Staying in Balat gave us the perfect opportunity to experience the authentic side of Istanbul. Great stay in the heart of the city right next to Taksim. Easy to find, just a short climb away from the main attractions. The apartment is well fitted with everything one might need, is clean and has an airy feel. Since it is in quite a central location it might have a bit of noise background but otherwise perfect for most visitors.

We loved our stay in the apartment, felt like home, great view, friendly host, bus 100 m from apt directly to Hagia Sofia - Grand Bazzar area. Lots of shops, places to eat and life of Istanbul all around the apartment. We had a parking spot assured. Would recommend and re-book it.

The place was very tidy and cozy! It was sparkling clean which is always a priority for me - clean kitchen, clean bathroom, clean sheets. The host is very helpful and responsive - replies almost instantly. There are Starbucks and a grocery store next to the building. And last but not least - we happened to visit during an earthquake and the building was very stable! I absolutely recommend this apartment and the host!

Ugur is an incredible host. We were traveling to Istanbul for our wedding and Ugur helped find a laundry service to help iron a wedding dress and tuxedo! His office is located around the corner and was quick to reply to any questions or concerns. We saw a few reviews about noise but we felt the apartment was very quiet and had no issues.
