Because of the convenient location to the A9 and A72, excursion destinations are easily accessible. Ideal starting point for destinations in northeastern Bavaria, southeastern Thuringia and impressions at the former German border. We also welcome guests in transit, hikers and cyclists. Breakfast is possible.

Around the lake you can experience untouched nature. Greiz and Elsterberg, with all shopping options, are a 10-minute drive away. The distance to Plauen and Reichenbach is 20 minutes by car.

Our cozy basement apartment is located between the Franconian Forest and the Fichtel Mountains - perfect for all nature lovers and active vacationers. By bike you can reach the local recreation area Untreusee in just 10 minutes, where various outdoor activities are possible. In winter, the region offers numerous skiing opportunities on the nearby Kornberg or Ochsenkopf with various slopes for all levels or the Klinovec ski area, a little further away, but with a variety of slopes.

The apartment is located in an idyllic secluded location in a beech forest on one of the seven hills that surround the city of Kirchberg. At the foot of the Ore Mountains. We want to convey the peace and security of this unique location to our guests. The apartment (80 square meters) is on the first floor (entrance area with 4 steps) in the landlord's house with a separate entrance. Wi-Fi and parking space available.

Adventure?! Log cabin in tiny house style for a cozy getaway in Vogtland. The cabin has a small bathroom with underfloor heating, shower, toilet and sink. Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.

The Shack in the Forest

Welcome to our retreat in the woods. Our small forest cabin is located on a fenced woodland property and awaits nature-loving guests. We use filtered rainwater and electricity from a small solar panel system, following the motto of returning to the source for pure nature and tranquility. Sometimes less is more. Dogs get their money's worth. The approximately 1000m² forest is fenced in with a 160cm high fence and the dogs can run freely
