The villa was very well located, easily accessible and with everything you need. All very clean and very nice decor. The reality even better than the photos. It's inside a complex where they give all kinds of facilities. David was an excellent host, friendly and lovely, providing recommendations, and having details with us. In short, a place to stay and a host of 10.

Thank you so much Hotel Belmar for an incredible experience in Monteverde. I don't think I have ever been more relaxed in my life. The hotel, food, spa treatment, grounds and amazing hospitality exceeded our expectations. The hotel is situated on a hill and our room overlooks the cloud rain forest and has gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. The hotel is close to many attractions, local restaurants and shops in Monteverde. Hotel Belmar has a restaurant, juice + tea room, a brewery, and fifteen-minute walking trail on their property. Highly recommend and hope to visit again sometime soon.

This place is definitely better than we expected. It’s located directly in the middle of the jungle and it’s so charming and beautiful. The trails around the property were fun to walk and the pools are lovely. Also, we love the little animals all over the property would recommend this place to anybody looking for a wonderful stay

Awesome hosts, always giving suggestions and offering help on what to do in Monteverde. If you’re looking for a more affordable route, this is the best place to be!

Great place to stay when visiting La Fortuna. Very spacious clean apartment with good aircon. The balcony was nice and a great place to relax. Koky was friendly and helpful, would recommend this place!

Great place to stay at! It's a private quiet place to stay at but still has walkable restaurants nearby. Huge bathroom with hot water, fridge in room and double beds. Not complaint but something to note is pool is shared by all villas and not directly outside room. A nice surprise was that breakfast was included and free from 7-10 am. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect location in downtown St Elana, nicely tucked just below the core downtown area less than 5 minute walk away. Cute place with generous common area, and unbeleivable value. Breakfast was quite the bonus. Other reviews complained of mattresses being GG uncomfortable, so I expected worn but instead found mine simply to be firm. There was adjacent road noise but no surprise given location downtown, easily arrested with ear plugs. Exceeded my expectations, would definitely return.

10/10 stay. The staff are all so friendly. 3 hot springs on site, beautiful view of the volcano from your stay. The pool bar is great. The restaurant on site is delicious. ALL the staff are so incredible. Free breakfast and its so delicious.

Beautiful oasis in a walkable location! The views of Arenal were unbeatable especially while relaxing in the pool and hot tub. The rooms were pristine and comfortable. The grounds were so colorful and the front hammocks and furniture were great to relax in. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in the two rooms. Berenice was so kind and responsive. We loved every minute and would absolutely stay again.

What a great place. 🤩 We loved it. Full of plants, the pool was beautiful and warm at night when we used it 😊 They treated us very well, very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Hope to comeback soon 😁

Casa del Rio was me and my friends FAVORITE place. The breakfast was SO GOOD it made a big difference in how we started our day, the property was massive, we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. But the thing that stood out, was how the employees treated us. I’d like to thank Hayward, Wilberth, Jose, Diego and all the employees who I did catch their names. One of the girls even took the time to walk to our room to help us figure out the room key. Everything about the stay was perfect. My only mistake was not spending more time here. I hope to be back soon. This is a great Airbnb find!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this La Fortuna gem! The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of everything, making it super easy to pop in and out for hikes, dinners, and exploring the area. The service was truly exceptional; every single staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our toddler, which made our trip so much smoother. The hotel had all the activities we could have hoped for, making it a perfect home base for our adventures. We only wish we could have stayed longer—already dreaming of our return!

Super recommended! A central, private place, comfortable room with everything you need, has a beautiful view of the volcano, the host gives the super clear directions, the security is very good of the place and is very quiet. If you want to hike and get to know places I recommend it since due to the location it is a great option.

Words and pictures can not properly describe this absolutely gorgeous property, you truly need to visit and experience it yourself. The only thing better than the natural beauty of Casa Del Rio, is the staff. They're informative, polite, well spoken and lovely people, from the wait staff at the restaurant, the lovely front desk attendants to the groundskeepers, every interaction we had was memorable. If you love nature, peaceful surroundings, but still be close enough to La Fortuna to enjoy everything this gorgeous province has to offer, don't overlook Casa Del Rio.

This was one of the best stays I have had. The bathroom is absolutely gorgeous and there was a secluded patio made up of foliage. Unfortunately, the view of the volcano could not be seen through the fog which is the reason I primarily booked it. There was only 1 day available at the time. Would definitely stay again if in the area but would book well in advance for at least 2-3 days to account for weather.

this place is amazing and easy to find. it has all your basic necessities and the bed is the best. after a long day of exploring lying down in their bed is so soft you just sink in. great place for cutting cost in an expensive country.

Mercedes was an incredibly sweet and helpful host, she made us feel right at home from the start. The place itself is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with the sounds of wildlife adding to the relaxing atmosphere. It’s about a 15-minute drive from La Fortuna, and most tours will pick you up directly from the Airbnb, making it super convenient. If you’re looking for a stress-free stay near La Fortuna, I highly recommend this place!

We stayed 2 nights at Bauma. Everything was super clean and we loved the decor, outdoor patio with jacuzzi and the upstairs outdoor space which is an amazing place to have coffee and listen to the sounds of the rainforest. The host and communication was outstanding and we were even able to request a room clean. Loved the unique shower with the small view of the outdoors. It was super easy to catch an Uber for about 8 USD into La Fortuna. Whenever we do come back to this area I would 100% stay here again. It’s amazing and one of my favorite AirBnB’s :)
