Vacation rentals in Zermatt

It was a fantastic location to take in the mountain views — we absolutely loved it!

The cottage is quite charming - very cozily furnished, small and nice. It offers a fantastic and central starting point for activities in Valais. We felt very comfortable as a family of four. Bruno is an extremely friendly, helpful and flexible host who welcomed us personally and showed us everything.

Lovely place. Simple, with modern amenities. It is quiet, 5/10 mins by car from Cervinia. There are neighbours (who were lovely), it is a semi-detached. All the things you need, relaxing place. Bedrooms were bigger than expected. There were two of us, it would sleep 8 just be aware that the configuration is two large rooms, one with double and bunk beds, one with two doubles. Ideal for families.

Excellent in all regards. A lovely quiet location and beautiful house with amazing views. Well equipped and comfortable, and Fabrice was a fantastic host who was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.

Quiet accommodation, in a hamlet near a village within walking distance where there is a small bar / convenience store. The locals are very friendly! Many walks are accessible from the accommodation. I recommend a vacation there if you want to enjoy nature! The hosts are very nice and friendly people who have the well-being of their tenants at heart!

We had a great time despite the bad weather in Valais during our week of vacation. Pierrick was very responsive and helpful.

My 4-week stay in Unterbäch was wonderful. Everything went smoothly, Lisbeth and Rolf were always available, friendly and helpful in every way. The apartment is great. Beautifully cut, bright, very clean, great indoor climate. The kitchen comes stocked with everything you might need to take care of yourself. The balcony/terrace is large and invites you to stay. The view from the bedroom as well as from the living room is beautiful. The apartment is very quiet and yet only a few meters away from the chairlift and the gondola down to Raron. There is a lot to do in the area and you can reach everything both by public transport and by car (some hiking areas of course a little faster by car). Conclusion: I can recommend the property to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-kept apartment with uncomplicated owners in a beautiful setting.:)

We loved staying here! The location is great (very close to skiing in Cervinia and also to hiking trails) but what really stood out was how friendly everyone was. The atmosphere in the lodge is lovely -- people sat around and played games and chatted and drinks and snacks were always on hand. I would absolutely highly recommend and go again!

We had a great 3 night stay at the hotel. The entire experience from booking to check in to stay to check out was very easy, seamless and comfortable. Location is amazing very close to train station, restaurants and shops. View from our room was great facing the mountains. Overall highly recommend.

Excellent value with amazing views. Hotel was just the right size and peaceful. Bed was super comfy and I had a great sleep. Dinner and breakfast were both really good. The self service bar concept was handy. Be mindful with parking if you have own car, the parking space is very limited. If necessary, the hotel staff will kindly take you where you want.

Comfortable hostel with a friendly & proactive host. Bus stop to Sion right in front of the hostel. Their rich breakfast buffet is highly recommended :)

We had a great time at this lovely place on the outskirts of Sion. The welcome was warm and all the useful information was communicated to us in a clear and effective way. We really felt that Anne-Lise was committed to making sure our stay went smoothly. The garden was particularly appreciated by our two daughters, and the whole place was clean, well-equipped and very pleasant to live in. We highly recommend this address for a family stay in the area.

Perfect place to stay if you plan to visit Aletsch and Zermatt/Matterhorn with Family or with Friends. Nice view of the valley and around 20 mins drive from Visp Train Station. Bunker beds were a plus as we travelled with kids. Easy entry to covered/closed parking space and to apartment. Convenient if you travel by car. Would stay here again if I return to Zermatt.

Had a great stay at their place. It’s really clean and comfortable. All the listed amenities provided like hair dryer, iron box, utensils, towels and etc. The warmer really worked well to keep us warm. And the view was stunning from the house.

It is a very nice and calm environment, close to the center and sorrounded by nature. The apartment is big and full of equipment for a nice stay.

Very friendly and responsive hosts. Gite corresponding to our needs despite the small heating problem, maybe we were the first tenants of the season. 😉 magnificent view of the cottage and very beautiful area. Perfect snow and sun present.

If you travel by car and you wish to go to Zermatt, then to Matterhorn, this is the right place. Beautiful apartment with picturesque view. Only few minutes walk to Tasch Terminal to catch a train to Zermatt (car free town). Great apartment! Wish I could’ve stayed longer than 2 nights. Looking forward to return here. Till next time
