The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

It is only 15 km to the well-known winter sports center Oberhof am Rennsteig, year-round cross-country skiing in Skisport Halle Oberhof, tobogganing, bike park, golf climbing park, wellness in the H2O Therme, sea aquarium in Zella-Mehlis.

The generously equipped kitchen offers the possibility to cater for yourself completely. The comfortable bedroom is equipped with a 1.80 m wide double bed. If necessary, another sleeping place is quickly made on the cabinet bed. As a special highlight, there is a sauna in the cottage.
