A very cute house on the edge of the jungle. They had everything needed for a pleasant stay. When I return to this area I will book this house again.

You have landed upon an absolute gem! After spending many weeks in this amazing cabin, I can confidently say that it is an incredible refuge from the world. If you’ve gotten this far, I’ll assume you are looking for a remote, peaceful place to retreat. This is exactly that! The air is pristine, the views of the majestic mountains and sunsets are fantastic, there is minimal EMF, and you’ll love taking walks through the hills to the rivers. It is perfect for one person or a couple and has all the amenities as described. There is also the possibility to do a dark retreat which can be a profound experience. You can opt for Serena’s delicious, healthy, and beautiful meals at a reasonable cost and can have laundry done and delivered to your door at 1 USD per kilogram to make your life super simple. I can’t say enough about this amazing place, so if what you are reading in the listing or these reviews resonates then don’t hesitate to reach out to the hosts and book it!

Rowins has created a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the nature! He has obviously put in a lot of work to create something special. The solar panels were effective for us- we were able to run the wifi all day long, even on cloudy days. My partner took an hour long video conference with no problem whatsoever. The batteries were able to charge fairly quickly and we were able to use some power into the night to charge phones/etc. Rowins was there at the bus stop ready to pick us up and drive us straight to the casita and show us around. He was kind and excited to show us everything on the property, a great host all around. For those with sound sensitivities- I will note that there was nearby music playing late into the night on Saturday. This is obviously out of the control of Rowins but of note if you are sensitive to things like that! Also- it is an easy walk to Copalinga Lodge from the casita with amazing birding all around!

Excellent place, Gloria is always attentive to everything regardless of the time, the staff is also very helpful, at all times they were attentive to us and when we need something they helped us right away, the place is perfect, the rooms are comfortable, the green area is perfect. If a group of friends go is excellent and the place is perfect, it is close to the village and next to they find delicious restaurants. We would definitely visit Quinta San José again, excellent place and service🙌🏼
