El Tejar is a very beautiful and original oasis, a short walk from the village of Zufre. It sits in glorious countryside, with unspoilt, breathtaking views. The house itself is impressive, with plenty of grown up space, and full of interesting artefacts. Above all, it also had a well-loved family feel to it. The garden area and pool is beautifully planted and well-maintained, and there are several outdoor seating areas all of which we enjoyed. Maria was a wonderful host; she was always on hand to provide excellent advice and assistance and she went over and above to ensure we had a very special holiday. We were a party of 10, ranging from age 80 to 15 and every one of us had an amazing time. Aracena was a notable visit both for the grottos and the food [we had a glorious lunch at Puerta 20].

A charming house, especially for a large group of friends or family. We really liked having rooms with their own private bathrooms. In addition, there are 2 more rooms upstairs that share a common bathroom and another room downstairs with a bathroom next to its door. The stay was very good, comfortable, very cozy and we were all comfortable with the fireplace that helps a lot to heat the house, especially on the ground floor. The place is very quiet and there was a lot of silence around it, as it is a very secluded village, but it helps to disconnect a little from the noise of the city. Good communication with Luis too. There are places for quiet hiking around the countryside. In short, a recommended house for several people (there were 11 of us) We would repeat. Thank you!

Stayed at Inma’s place for a week. Beautiful gardens, well looked after and so private. The pool is clean and good size. House is very spacious and clean. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is good as next town is less than 5minutes by car. Inma is a very friendly and helpful host. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for peace and quiet, enjoy the silence and privacy.

A wonderful stay in the middle of calm pastures. El Buitron is a quick car ride away from Valverde where you can find a big supermarket and great selection of local restaurants. There are so many hiking trails around this area, easily accessible within a few minutes by car. The space itself is very luminous and has everything you need. The lounge area is spacious and has a gorgeous view. Communication with the co-hosts was fast and easy.

The homestead is truly an ex-libris from the Marvão region. Those who seek tranquility with all comfort and wrapped in the magic of the climate of the Serra do Alentejo, here you can enjoy an unparalleled peace. The house is super comfortable, well equipped and with all the requirements met to spend a few days with family or friends. The very spacious bedrooms all with well-equipped living room and kitchen, an unobstructed outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a generous pool always useful on hot days. All this in the middle of many fruit trees and with the mountains serving as a postcard. With regard to the hostess, Inês, was always very kind, worried that we would feel at home and always ready to help with any questions. Definitely an experience to repeat.

We visited Sierra Norte on the December long weekend and everything went very well. The house is spectacular, much better than it looks in the photos, it doesn't lack a single detail. Juliana, the person in charge of welcoming you, was very kind to us. She helps you and explains everything perfectly. The living room is very large, the fireplace is what we liked the most and the heating throughout the house makes you feel very comfortable, just like at home. Very clean bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen. In addition, the area is quiet, you sleep without a sound. Around the house you have a chestnut grove for a walk and all this is joined by the visits you can make to towns such as Constantina (two minutes by car), San Nicolas and Cazalla. You can do routes through Cerro del Hierro, Ribera del Hueznar, etc... Everything is wonderful, we will definitely be back in this house that we fell in love with. In the Sierra Norte we felt right at home. WE'LL BE BACK! Many thanks to Amparo and Juliana.

We loved the house. The shades were dark, the beds were comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. It was a longer walk to walk to Monsaraz than I thought it would be, but we really liked the quiet location and agree with the other reviewers who said they had one of their best meals at the restaurant next door. Would have loved to stay longer!

Loved this spot, and the apartment was tastefully decorated and very modern. We loved the special touches in design and the solidity of the building. The castle was close by and in a very quaint town. We recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the area. Thanks you ana and Antonio!

Cazalla and the surrounding areas were lovely. The town has supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. Excellent views and wildlife. We had a wonderful stay at Pilar’s apartment which appeared beautifully clean and new, just as advertised. The perfect base for exploring the area and Pilar is a great host. Thanks for a lovely stay! :)

It was perfect. The house is very nice, wider than it looks in the pictures. Amazing breakfast on the terrace. We were informed of nearby restaurants. We were offered to request anything we needed. The stay was very pleasant, I recommend it 100%. I would definitely come back again! Thank you!!!

No words can describe how nice Carla is and how friendly and inviting she is along with her daughter. We felt right at home and her place was very comfortable, clean and the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. I recommend her place to anyone who wants a country side retreat with the most amazing views and not too far from the town centre. Second time staying here. The apartment is beautiful, one of the best Airbnbs we've used. It has everything, even the details you don't expect like a toothbrush or soap for the washing machine. Veronica responds super quickly to any questions and is very friendly. The area is ideal, you can get everywhere easily. I had to telework a couple of days and it was a luxury to work there.

5 stars isn't high enough for this apartment. It's the highest quality place I have ever stayed. I'd happily live there! Everything was spotless. Great view from the balcony. The host was incredible and very helpful. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Group of 6 couples for 3 days at the turn of the year 24/25. The house is spacious, modern and very pleasant, all with very good taste! Central heating provides the necessary comfort for the cold of Alentejo, but it's a pity the fireplace doesn't work. The kitchen is huge and the fridge/freezer too!As the house is in transition of owners, there are still some touches that, when ready, will make the house even better than it already is! Such as: more light in the living room and kitchen, a reading nook, more chairs at the dining table and renovated sofas. I highly recommend this hill for groups as it has plenty of room to socialize and relax. It has a great pool and a huge porch that will certainly be magnificent to enjoy when it is not winter.

The Casita de Camino is WONDERFUL!! is in a beautiful village two minutes from Alajar, one of the most beautiful villages we have gone to. Camino is a spectacular host! She is always on the lookout and gave us many local tips. We'll be back very soon.

I had a great vacation in this cottage. The house is in a very quiet place, above the river. Everything was clean, there was even food for the breakfast. Bruno who welcomed me is very friendly and helpfull. You can count on him to tell you what is worth visiting and attending to in the area !

Very good value for money The only one but was that the house smelled very damp didn't help that it was raining and although there were dehumidifiers it was not enough, also there was less storage space in the kitchen and some salt ,vinegar...,everything else was very good, comfortable beds.

An excellent choice! The accommodation is exactly as described. The host is very friendly and welcoming. Responds quickly and is very helpful. There is still old culture in Badajoz.
