My accommodation is 5 minuts walk from the trainstation Kogerveld, Zaandam. Via public transports in the neighborhood you will arrive in 10 min. in the city center of Zaandam or Zaanse Schans en in 20 min. Amsterdam centrum. Within 5 minutes walk you will find a shopping area with supermarkets and different kind of shops and restaurants.

Amsterdam Centraal is in minder dan 15 minuten met de trein te bereiken, maar u kunt ook de geschiedenis van de Zaanstreek ontdekken. Welcome to the holiday apartment top two floors of the house. Own entrance from side of the house. There is a ground floor apartment (mine) and a two floor apartment above (for rent). House is on the water, with many trees, and windows. Big kitchen. Not good if you do not like stairs. The main bedroom has an attic with extra bed . Close to a supermarket, and the bus to Schiphol (Amsterdam). You may see our dogs outside, and sometimes hear them, when they talk to eachtother.

There is a gas BBQ and a lovely outdoor fireplace. (BBQ and outdoor fireplace for a fee) The bakery with fresh rolls is within walking distance. Sypesteyn Castle is across the road. Amsterdam and Utrecht +/-20 min.

Thanks to the high windows, the chalet is light and spacious. Halfweg-Zwanenburg Station is 1.7 km away; from there you can reach Amsterdam Central Station in about 10 minutes. Haarlem and Zandvoort are also easily accessible.
