We loved our stay at Jude’s house in San Felipe! Every room was beautifully designed and you could tell a lot of care went into the furnishings and decorating. The kitchen was very well-equipped and we enjoyed eating breakfast outside in the peaceful garden and reading and napping in the hammock. We also fell in love with the cats! They gave us lots of love and entertainment watching them play together. The location was perfect- outside of all the hustle and noise of the city, but an easy 20 minute walk or very short cab ride into the center. Our favorite tlayuda place in Oaxaca was just down the street, as well as a grocery store and an excellent coffee shop and bakery. Jude’s communication was impecable, and she also gave us lots of great recommendations for where to go and what to do in Oaxaca. I highly recommend staying here if you want to have a spacious, comfortable, homey base from which to explore the city. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

Casana is a beautiful space and makes a great home base for exploring Oaxaca. Mariana and her staff are very communicative and available. We loved having the pool and the beautiful natural fountain onsite. There was plenty of room for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) to spread out and enjoy our downtime here!

Trust the reviews on this one… Antonio’s place is amazing! The house is expansive, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need. I don’t think I have ever felt so welcomed at an Airbnb with fruit and drinks and a friendly and responsive host. The location is perfect for access to Oaxaca’s restaurants and shops, as well as Hierve el Agua and Mitla and Teotitlàn del Valle. History, culture, natural wonders, sophisticated cuisine are all at your fingertips. That is, if you can put your mezcal down and bring yourself to leave the poolside chairs!

Es una estancia agradable para pasar en familia, muy recomendable. El anfitrión estuvo al pendiente de cualquier cosa que se nos ofreciera.

We loved our stay. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and included all the amenities (even a high-end espresso machine). We were able to check in several hours early, which was appreciated. The host provided very clear instructions on how to find the place and how to use the door lock app. The hammock in the living room was a favorite place to nap. The shower had great pressure and hot water. The bathrobes were a nice touch, too. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and being able to Airplay to the Apple TV in the bedroom was convenient. Keep in mind, though, that it’s outside Centro and not very walkable. You’ll need a way to get into town, but we already knew that when booking (and have a car) so it wasn’t a surprise. It’s a high-end place with a lot of nice touches, and the host was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay. We’d love to stay there again.

La casa está hermosa, con una decoración muy mexicana y artesanías muy bonitas, es muy grande y muy acogedora. Me hubiera gustado quedarme más días para disfrutarla más, el jardín está increíble. Solo me pareció un poco alejada del centro de la ciudad, pero rentamos auto y no hubo problema, si van les recomiendo alquilar auto. La zona es una colonia muy bonita y tranquila de Oaxaca. Nos gustó mucho nuestra estancia ahí fue súper cómoda.

This was an amazing Airbnb find with an even better host. A great location with the main attractions just down the street. Our host was always quick to reply and always had a solution for any accommodations needed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My stay was beautiful. The home is bright, clean, & spacious with a well-stocked kitchen. There’s no oven, but I cooked every meal I wanted. The bed is comfy, & the patio is perfect for breakfast. There’s a stunning hike nearby. Map to “Montecito,” take the left fork, and it loops back to the house. More trails are a short taxi ride away. Buses to the city are easy (10 pesos), & DiDi for taxi. Maria offers a ride if it aligns with her work schedule. She’s incredibly kind & genuinely cares about her guests. Filtered water is available upon request, which was super helpful. There’s also a sweet cleaning service from Carmelita. The local market near Mula Café has amazing fresh produce. The neighborhood is peaceful & friendly. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs as dogs sometimes bark at night. This place feels like home thanks to the love and generosity of Maria and her family. I’m so grateful to have found it.

The place was lovely. It was basic but functional and had everything that we needed. The host was very responsive and gave us local recommendations. It was unseasonably cool while we were there and we needed to bundle up a bit at night. The neighbourhood was walkable and close to many shops and restaurants. It is close to the airport so you can hear the planes in the morning. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

Increíble ✨✨✨ Un alojamiento hermoso, desde la cálida bienvenida de Josefina y su hijo Pedro. Nos mostraron la casa y compartieron recomendaciones. El alojamiento cuenta con todo lo necesario para sentirte como en casa, además de reluciente de limpio. Cuenta con un patio con alberca pequeña en el que pasamos una agradable tarde familiar utilizando el asador. Sin duda queremos regresar y seguir conociendo las bellezas de Oaxaca y hospedarnos nuevamente con Josefina sería nuestra primer opción. Gracias por su hospitalidad. Mí familia y yo disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estadía.

Me pareció un lugar super agradable y acogedor, aunque no esta tan céntrico esta muy cerca de la zona céntrica. Todo muy bien equipado. En el momento de ocupar había 2 autos de igual número de apartamentos, pero uno puede quedar adentro y otro afuera.

Manu fue muy amable y atento! Recibimos mucho apoyo con algunos imprevistos y lo valoramos bastante. El lugar es cómodo e incluso mejor que en las fotos, es tranquilo y espacioso. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia y nuestros perritos la pasaron muy bien también, el patio es apto para ellos :)

What an excellent AirBNB! Sara Isabel and her family were so incredibly welcoming and friendly. You will immediately feel like family. Sara and her family live on-site and are happy to assist quickly when needed. The AirBNB was very clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of cookware to prepare meals at home. When not enjoying Oaxaca, I loved watching TV on the large Smart TV. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The AirBNB was very quiet day and night. The surrounding area was safe with restaurants and tiendas (stores) within a short walk. I enjoyed walking up and down the hill to Centro every day. It was a great workout! The water to the AirBNB ran out during my stay but was fixed very quickly. There are 4-5 large cisterns on-site so water was never out for more than one hour. en verdad una experiencia súper linda, el trato de los anfitriones muy atento y muy lindas personas, siempre al pendiente de nosotros. sin duda volveré a hospedarme con ellos cuando vaya para Oax 💖

Excelente espacio para alejarse del ruido de la ciudad y conectar con la naturaleza. La descripción de Abigail y Renato del lugar es precisa , leer con atención. Yo me quedé en la cabaña Menta, muy cómoda tal y como se ve en las imágenes , y Abigail y Renato se encargaron de recibirnos y hacernos sentir como en casa! Éramos un grupo de 4 e inclusive nos habilitaron un pequeño espacio en común para poder juntarnos. Súper anfitriones! La cabaña tiene todo lo necesario para estar cómodos, mosquitero (para mantener los bichitos fuera del espacio de descanso), un pequeño refri y hasta elementos suficientes para prepararte un cafecito en la mañana. Renato y Abigail incluso nos dejaron una botella de agua! Importante ! Recomendable llevar cualquier snack , bebidas y suplementos antes de llegar ya que después de cierta hora no hay nada abierto cerca para comprar. Hay varias cabañas dentro del mismo espacio, sin embargo menta es la única que está separada del resto. 10/10

This Air Bnb provided exactly what we needed: a place to sleep and shower during a hectic 6-day road trip across Oaxaca. I appreciated how flexible Hazael was in letting us check in very late (as we drove from Huatulco and didn't get there until 11 pm) and everything worked well.

Si lo que buscas es hospitalidad, amabilidad, disponibilidad y respeto por parte de los anfitriones este es el lugar indicado. Sin hacer menos la tranquilidad del espacio en virtud de estar alejado del bullicio propio de la urbe. El toque campirano espectacular y la estancia ni hablar. Mejor imposible!!!!! Este es el lugar ideal si lo que quieres es realmente descansar.

El alojamiento está a 18 Km del centro de Oaxaca que para nosotros resultó súper conveniente por la zona que estaríamos recorriendo durante la semana que nos alojamos para día de muertos. Una zona tranquila, muy bonita y con poca gente. Nuestra habitación hermosa y con todo lo necesario, incluso cafecito para todas las mañanas. En el patio, con vistas de la montaña, un halcón y un cielo súper estrellado incluida una estrella fugaz. Podíamos entrar y salir del estacionamiento a necesidad. Hicimos uso de la cafetería un par de días y todo estaba delicioso. Nuestros anfitriones muy amables. Regresaremos!

Héctor y Ale desde el primer momento estuvieron al tanto de todo, el lugar es magnífico para descansar y tiene una muy buenas. Realmente es maravilloso para pasar momentos increíbles. Muy buenas recomendaciones de comidas y comunicación muy buena. Espero pronto poder regresar 🙂‍↕️
