Accommodating up to 6 people, it is ideally located a 15-minute walk from the center of Vichy, its parks and thermal baths. Bus stop at the end of the street and bike rental (5 minutes) to take the many bike paths. Small enclosed courtyard in the back of the house with garden furniture. Grands Rochers Gîte

In Châteauneuf-Les-Bains on the banks of the Sioule, one of the cleanest rivers in France, is our Gite de Grands Rochers. Nature plays the leading role in this unforgettable accommodation. Here is peace and space with a beautiful view over the river. The cottage is 32 m2, spread over two floors. Downstairs, the kitchen with dining area and a seating area with comfortable chairs and TV, French doors to a lovely terrace with stone BBQ. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom with toilet.

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

The Clos Monade stopover

Relax as a family at this tranquil place. This 80 m2 house is housed in a small park completely enclosed by walls with a jacuzzi from March 15 to the end of October. (It can be opened earlier depending on the weather). The Clos Monade is located in the heart of the village near the Cluniac Abbey of Souvigny. Built in the 10th century, Souvigny became one of the first outbuildings of the Burgundian abbey. Accommodation located 5 min walk from the historic center.

The house was built from former horse stables and will surprise you with many pretty details. The house is very comfortably furnished: on the ground floor there is a well-equipped, open kitchen with dining area as well as a comfortable living room with TV/DVD. Everything is spacious, open and cozy. Upstairs are two bedrooms with a private bathroom, either with shower or bathtub. In addition, there are two outdoor seating areas with barbecue facilities.

Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. At our place, you'll find a rustic veggie garden and free-roaming animals like two nice pigs, lovely chickens, ducks, rabbits, and our two cats, named Panthera and Chaudchat.
