Welcome to a real log house, which is built after many hundred year old building desks in Norway. The house has modern facilities on a flat. You will have lovely bed linen, lots of pillows and lots of soft towels. The walls are logs and all floors are solid wood pine floor with heating cables. You can park several cars for free on the property and in the garage and you will be able to enjoy lovely views of the great nature. Bergen is only 25 minutes away. The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

You can definitely get around by public transport, however, a rental car will normally be preferable. We also have a private parking place for you. There are nice hiking possibilities here and on the way to the fjords/Hardanger.
