Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Yoshino District

This is a wonderful house in the Kitayama range. It is spacious and has the nice touch and feel of the 80's with all the furniture and equipment one expects from a Japanese home. The host, Noriko-san, is a lively and extremely kind person. She arranged my arrival with much care, found out the best train and bus route for me and organised my being picked up at the bus station. She came and stayed at the guesthouse for half of my stay (we agreed on that before I booked) and it was a pleasure sharing time with her and the manager of the house who lives near by. Both where extremely obliging and helped me exploring around. I warmly recommend it for those searching for the sound of silence.

There are many great accommodations on Airbnb and Doratei has to be amongst the very best. The location is serine and peaceful, the house is beautifully designed inside and out, and the amenities well thought out and comprehensive. But where doratei really shines is the host. Lee is incredibly fiendly, informative and helpful. From leaving locally farmed rice as a welcome gift to a very special tour of the neighbourhood his knowledge and enthusiasm for the area and kind nature made this stay truly memorable. I would recommend Doratei to anyone visiting the area as their first choice!

Ryochi is an incredible host! He truly made our experience in Koyasan unforgettable. From the beginning, he shared thoughtful recommendations for restaurants and experiences, tailored to what we were looking for. He checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly, and even kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the station. The Airbnb itself is pristine, beautifully designed, and filled with a calming, cozy atmosphere that perfectly reflects the peaceful spirit of Koyasan. Ryochi went above and beyond for us, and we’re so grateful for his kindness and hospitality. I can’t recommend this Airbnb highly enough, it’s the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Koyasan.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stay at the house with our 11 month old baby. It looks exactly as it does in the photos and is a wonderful sanctuary to come home to after a day of sightseeing. We visited Koyasan and Nara Deer Park (which are both about an hour away) during our week there, as well as a few more local shrines. We appreciated that there was a supermarket a 10 min. drive away for all of our cooking needs. Hitoshi was a great communicator and generously allowed us some flexibility with our check-in/check-out times. We definitely recommend the house and would love to stay again if ever in the area.

We stayed for a couple of nights at Genchiros’s place to complete the Koyasan Choishi-Michi trail. I have to say this was one of the most enjoyable stays on our trip to Japan thanks to Genchiro, who provides homely experience to travallers coming to stay in his little house. The location of the house is ideal to feel peaceful before any hikes or activities you want to do in the area. Koyaguchi is a beautiful place to be on its own and the little house is a reflection of the beauty this place holds. Inside the house you will find everything you might need during your stay and Genchiro cares enough to explain how to use all the things in the house in great detail, so its easy for you as a guest to feel at home. Overall, this experience could not be better. Thank you, Genchiro!

The reviews are all true! I had a wonderful time here. The house is beautiful and there was a lot of thought going into making it comfortable. The surrounding area is breathtaking. The cedar tub exceeded (the already very high) expectation. I loved all and little touches throughout the house, especially in the kitchen. Miho-San and Hiro-San are wonderful hosts - thoughtful, accommodating, and fun to chat with. Food was delicious too. Highly recommend!

Staying here was a very friendly and homely experience. The hosts welcomed us personally and were very lovely. They cooked us an incredible breakfast, which we couldn't believe the size of! Overall, this was a home from home.

Ryohei's House is very welcoming. Between the Manga Library, the toys for children, and the big bedrooms, it makes you wish you have a family to enjoy the place together. Everything is super clean, super organized, very convenient and fully equipped. It's close to Hashimoto station, which makes it super easy to go to Koyasan ! Plus there is a big supermarket/shopping center 15 minutes by foot. It's honestly the best place to relax and enjoy Nature. The views at Sunset are amazing. Like a Anime movie. Please book here !!!
