Birch Cottage with woodland sauna

OliverRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a really lovely time at Birch cottage. Despite only staying for a couple of days we felt right at home and fell in love with the area. The house is well equipped and beautifully decorated, and the Sauna was a fantastic experience. Phil was very helpful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome, I'm sure we'll be back in the not too distant future!

Rural riverside cottage on the banks of the Severn

AmalieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an exceptional stay. The place lived up to all expectations and then some. Florence and her family were warm, welcoming, and full of great recommendations (among others the restaurant "Post"). Check-in and check-out were incredibly flexible, which made everything feel relaxed from the moment we arrived! A lovely surprise awaited us when we walked in. There was fresh bread, eggs, butter, jam, and even local cider. Such a thoughtful and generous touch that really made us feel at home! The surroundings were absolutely stunning. Even though the hosts live behind the Airbnb and there's another rental next door, it felt so private and peaceful, yet with a comforting sense of community. We especially loved cozying up by the fireplace in the evenings. A PRACTIAL TIP: the road to the house has quite a few potholes, so it’s best to come in a car that’s not too low to the ground. All in all, it was a magical getaway. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Harebell: homely hideaway

SueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband and I stayed for a month in Harebell Cottage, along with the two dogs. It had everything you need for a long stay, with laundry facilities on site, and a beautiful view from the garden. We had great weather for the most part, and there are some lovely walks from the farm, as well as a very short drive to the Forest of Dean, that has free parking at most of the trail heads. Everything worked the way it should, and if we had any questions, Kate or Alison were ready with answers. We got food delivery from both Tesco and Sainsbury's with no problem, and had Amazon deliveries that got to us easily. We used the grill outside quite a bit, and lit the fire inside on one drizzly day, which warmed the whole place really quickly. The Farm had friendly dogs, cats, goats and sheep (and the cutest lambs), a games room, and an information room with fire supplies, sheep/goat feed, and lots of information on the surrounding areas. We had a great time, and are looking forward to coming back.

Nuthatch Retreat - Laidback luxury with views

JaimieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My partner and I stayed in Nuthatch for a long weekend to celebrate her birthday. We were absolutely blown away with the property, it far from exceeded our expectations! It was spotless and had everything we needed and more… we didn’t want to leave! Additionally, Nemia went above and beyond to help organise a personalised balloon arrangement to be there for our arrival. We will 100% be back - thank you!
