A fantastic home away from home, a perfect location with a stunning view!

What a treasure this place is. It's not just beautiful, peaceful and extremely homely - it's loved, full of stories and life. Shane is a perfect host - kind, responsive and dedicated to providing a lovely space. Even better is that he built it himself - so every little part has a purpose and a story. He knows each tree in the garden. There are peacocks, hares, deer and birdsong. Some places are meant to make people smile :-)

The place where you live out your dreams!!! Sitting watching the stars glisten from the hot tub listening to the night sounds. Watching the sun set with a roaring fire and waking up to most amazing views and spending time with the cutest animals! Honestly can’t fault it/ slept like a log on both nights and really didn’t want to leave. The personal touches were absolutely amazing too with the little treats really appreciated xxx

What an absolute gem!! The location of the lodge is fantastic, beautifully peaceful countryside with only the birds and local farm animals in sight and earshot. The photos really do not do it justice, the feel inside is super cosy and well equipped. Outside is on another level - the views over the fields, private hot tub and sauna as well as various different seating areas make it stand out. We had planned to walk to the local pub but we were having such a relaxing time we decided not to leave at all! We had asked for the hot tub to be warmed for when we got there, the only thing I will say is bring your fire making abilities with you as you'll need them! Michelle was a great host, she was very responsive both prior to the stay and during, and met us there to let us in, nothing was too much trouble. The return trip is already in discussions!

Great stay for six adults. We loved the large lounge out into the garden. Which was perfectly fenced off for dogs. Loved the hot tub and extra towels provided to use. Spotlessly clean and Angela was very responsive and welcoming.

Char & Neil gave us really helpful instructions on how to get to the property, as well as parking for dropping off luggage and where to park during our stay. The cottage itself had everything we needed. We were in Bridgnorth for a wedding, so it was nice to be so central to pop out & see friends, or quickly head back to our own space in the form of the living room and the little garden area. There are some steps to access the property, but these were perfectly manageable for us and our luggage (hand luggage sized bags). We were pleasantly surprised by Bridgnorth, so hopefully we’ll be back one day!

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Mary's place! The cottage is just as described and in a beautiful and peaceful location. All of the instructions Mary provided were easy to follow, and while we didn't meet in person, Mary was communicative and available if needs be. We hope to return again soon!

Beautiful place, was the perfect escape from the city for the weekend. Pip explained everything accurately and thoroughly and provided us with some logs for the fire which was great fun. The hut was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bath outside was perfect for a cold evening. Thanks Pip we had a great time!

We have stayed here a few times now and perfect location for visiting family and the local area. Great cottage with plenty of space!
