If you're looking for a peaceful cottage right on the lake, this is it! The location was ideal and we got so much use out of the provided sleds and long walks on the frozen lake. The hosts are very organized and made everything crystal clear. One of our favorite activities we did came from their list of recommendations! We got to see some faint Northern Lights, on a clearer day I think this location is far enough from the city to see them well. Very happy with our choice to stay here.

We would highly recommend staying at this apartment. The building is exceptionally clean and quiet, while the area feels safe. Being right on the sea, the view from the sixth-floor apartment was lovely, even in winter. Plenty of steaming hot water and comfortable beds, there was nothing to dislike, and I am very fussy about where I stay.

We had a lovely stay here. The flat is very close to the city centre and all the pick up locations for tours. It’s also right by the river. The flat itself is lovely, very cozy and the sauna is great. Niina (and her daughter Ella who came to meet us) were great hosts. Very responsive, friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay in Lapland and the apartment is warm, clean and very functional. Niina and Heini are adorable and very responsive if you have any problems or questions. Also very well located you are a 10 min walk from shops and the city center. We are delighted with our stay in Rovaniemi and leave with the stars in our eyes. Thanks to Niina and Heini

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Riverside Dream really lived up to it's name, such a beautiful, clean home with stunning views in the perfect location! Joni-Arttu was extremely responsive and friendly, making the booking, check in and stay so smooth. The property is in a prime location, 10- 20 minutes from most attractions and the airport. We were easily able to book local taxis to and from the home. Such a spacious property that was super clean and decorated for Christmas with a lovely Christmas tree and inviting candles/lights. We (a family of 4) enjoyed the grill hut and sauna and were lucky to witness the Northern Lights from the garden! Our boys appreciated the children's games and the sledges. Had a very pleasant stay. The views are amazing and the hot tub was perfect! The house is very clean and well built. It’s a short 30 minute drive from the city which also means wonderful night sky without any light pollution. Felt like locals during our stay here!

We recently stayed in Minnas house and it was just perfect. The house is beautiful inside and is very cozy and homely. It has fantastic views out the back looking over the frozen lake and there is a little hill down to the lake which the kids used for sledding (Minna had lots of sleighs left outside for the kids to use which was very kind). The location is great as its in a little quite neighborhood in nature but also only a short drive to shops and the centre. Minna is a great host and is very reachable and quick to answer any questions. Thanks for having us.

The only strange thing was that the house itself needs to be cleaned after staying overnight. It also gets to stay in a place that has been cleaned by the previous guest myself. Bed linen and towels also had to be taken ourselves. There is a sauna and a tub that is included in the price.

very nice house, warm. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. You can take a sauna and then go down the stairs and swim in the river. We saw the northern lights on the first and last day of our vacation from the cottage. The village of Santa Claus is only 30 minutes from the shawl as well as the town of Rovaniemi. Highly responsive host.

The accommodation was perfect for our stay in Rovaniemi. The flat is very central and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The flat is furnished to a very high standard and you immediately feel at home. I can really recommend it! Leena is a great host and was always easy to contact.

It was great! The apartment is super central, you can do a lot on foot. It is modern and has everything you need.
