Spectacular Oceanfront Upper Unit in Summerville

ChelseaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Loved our stay at Eric and Dawns beautiful house! A very short distance to the Summerville beach, and the house is well equipped for everything you would need. My kids especially loved the binoculars to look out at the water, and the colouring books left for them.

Great location! Pristine spot steps away from Acadia. Bar harbor is a gem, really enjoyed my time in Diwas’s unit. He was personable, and made sure we had everything we needed. The unit is really nice! Updated electronics and furnishings. Great bathroom and bedroom. Had a great time, would not hesitate to book again.

Main Street Suite with Waterfront Resort Access

TessaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This place was perfect for me! Right in the center of town with easy access to all my favorite bar harbor shops and restaurants. Instructions were super clear on check in and I loved having the parking at balance rock inn. This is also the only Airbnb that I’ve stayed in that had an excess towels which was amazing after long days of hiking and multiple showers.

Amazing views-newly built carriage house near ANP

KyleRating, 5 stars9 months ago
If you are looking for a vacation that is quiet, relaxing and with stunning views then this is the place! Only 10 minutes from downtown bar harbor and quick easy access to Acadia. Honestly, my wife and I made less trips to Acadia because the views from the property were better! The hosts are fantastic and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Acadia cozy hideaway apartment

SteveRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very happy with this stay. Comfy place with a beautiful view, comfy bed, and good area to hang out at. They also included a pack in play for my infant son, and he was very happy to sleep in it. One word of caution, its street name is very similar to a nearby street so make sure you pay attention or you'll end up at the wrong house!

I've never had a better experience on Airbnb - Misha was an extraordinary host. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless! the location was perfect, right in the heart of Bar Harbor. It was our first time in Acadia / Bar Harbor and we would 10000% stay at Misha's place again. The place was spotless and the bedrooms very comfortable. Misha was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations and accommodations. We can't wait to visit again!

Had a great time. The house was clean and orderly. We had easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, they were only 30-40 minutes away. Waterfront rustic unit in a former Cannery.

DanaRating, 5 stars46 months ago
This place is wonderful! The highlight is definitely the kayaking—we saw seals when we were out on the bay one day!!!—but the place was well stocked, convenient for hiking, cooking, and hanging out. Plus they have an adorable dog named yoda who you can pet if you’d like!
A two-story structure is displayed with a light blue exterior and multiple balconies. The front garden is landscaped with greenery, and a walkway leads to the entrance. Nearby trees provide shade, and a motorcycle is parked along the street, adding a casual element to the scene.

Comfy in-town studio apartment!

BethRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Our stay was absolutely perfect. The home was comfy and well appointed and Bethany and Ben were gracious hosts. The location of the home was central to everything we hoped to do and see while in Bar Harbor, and were able to walk to dinner, shopping, and harbor cruises quickly. We would absolutely stay here again! Bethany knew we were traveling to celebrate my daughter’s 25th birthday, and she had a balloon, card, and bottle of bubbly waiting for us on arrival. Definitely above and beyond!! Parking at the home is easy and close, the location is safe, great water pressure and plenty of hot water, ample appliances and well-stocked coffee! If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Bar Harbor, look no further!

We had a wonderful stay. A perfect location for visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The accommodations were beyond what we expected. Everything you could possibly need was available! The bed was comfortable and great water pressure for showers. Having a morning coffee or an evening cocktail in the solarium was definitely a bonus. It was so nice meeting Gene and having some great chats with him. Marti was out of town so we did not meet but she was great with open lines of communication We highly recommend staying in the Lighthouse Retreat 👍

Hidden Treasure in Historic Downtown Bar Harbor

RichardRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We really enjoyed Sandy's Hidden Treasure apartment. The location is perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, and all of Bar Harbor, including the supermarket and shuttle bus stop. The location is excellent for getting in and out of town without being snarled in congested downtown traffic. The off-street parking is a huge advantage because parking in town is a nightmare. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and quiet. We slept well and were not bothered by noise from the street or bars. The heat worked well, and the hot water was plentiful. We enjoyed the feeling of coming home to our cozy, private retreat after days of hiking in Acadia. We offer a few notes, not complaints, to other travelers. This apartment is not well suited to large people. The bedroom is tight, the doorway to the kitchen and bath is very narrow, and the vanity area is no wider than the sink itself. The garden by the door attracted many bees, which was a concern because my wife is allergic to bee stings.
A vintage Victorian house is displayed under a clear blue sky. The green façade is complemented by white trim and decorative gables. A small porch is visible, surrounded by grass and a well-maintained shrub. Nearby trees offer a natural frame to the charming residence.
