Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Yankton County

My family and I had a great stay at the cardinal house. Great location RIGHT across from the entrance to Lewis and Clark recreation area. Charming, cozy home with great spaces to accommodate 5 or 6 people. Easy to find, beautiful surroundings.

Lindsay’s place is a cozy gem tucked away, but near the lake and not a bad drive to town. It’s nothing fancy, but has everything you need. Lindsay was a responsive and helpful host. We will be back!

Sheryl's place was perfect for us. We came into town for a race and we had time to check out Yankton. I nice town with friendly people. Sheryl's home was just as described and she was a very responsive host.

I enjoyed my stay at Sarah's home again this year. It's a great house in a quiet neighborhood. Everything is spotless. The kitchen is well supplied, too. I hope to be back again next year.

Really beautiful views and a very nice house. Walker valley boat landing is within walking distance of the house (half mile or so). That was very convenient!

We had a great time. Beautiful home. Peaceful location. It’s right outside of Yankton so it’s quiet but still close enough to run into town if you need to grab something. The hot tub was a big hit for everyone that stayed. We spent most of our time on the back patio and is perfect for gatherings.

Nice location, clean, easy to get to and park, had everything we needed, responsive and flexible host. Will stay again.

This is an amazing place, the owners are truly sharing their beautiful home with you. It’s not a shared space, but you can tell they take pride in their property and you will feel special just walking in, it’s decorated so beautifully! I wouldn’t want to share it with just anyone! It is spotless everything was immaculate. It has everything you could need in the kitchen, I brought some things from home but really didn’t need to. I’ve never seen a more stocked bathroom with towels and washcloths, so nice! Location was fantastic, it’s a short walk to downtown shopping and restaurants, baseball field, playground, and the Meridian bridge is a great family walk! They have a wealth of information in a book in the kitchen with recommendations and info on how to operate appliances. Traveling with a 1 yr old they accommodated an early arrival and we communicated about a couple other things during our stay. Easter and senior day for MMU baseball, our family made memories. Thank you!

Had an issue, but we were able to switch to another room in the building with no problems.

Worked perfectly for what we needed and very happy with the staff. Hope to stay there again!!
