The beach village of Ag. Theodori is approximately an hour outside of Athens on the way to Corinth. “Villa Sofia” was the perfect bungalow to spend our final three days in Greece and to visit lifelong friends who live in this village. Just steps away from the boardwalk and the beach, we found our own private oasis. Named in honor of the hosts’ mother, the home was just as described. The hosts have done a wonderful job remodeling this cozy “home away from home”—including soundproof windows, automatic shutters, AC, a modern bathroom/kitchen, two bedrooms and a sitting room. We can’t forget to mention the patio with views of the sea. Constantinos and Filippos were very responsive and accommodating hosts who picked us up from the train station and made sure we were dropped off again to catch the 6:24am train to the Athens Airport for departing flights. Upon arrival, we found a bottle of red wine, fresh grapes, watermelon, coffee, and plenty of bottled water. Thank you to our hosts!

We stayed 3 nights to visit the surroundings a bit and our stay was really pleasant! Efi waited for us with fresh fruit, fresh water in the fridge and everything we needed for breakfast the next day! We ate in his tavern, he lets you into the kitchen as if you were at home, the food is very good! We stayed with the dog and Efi was offered to take care of him if needed during our day visits, there was no need but still thank you! The house has a nice garden, but then you can also walk freely in its vineyard and anywhere on the property. Everything is simple but very clean! When we left, she prepared a container with her fresh fruit for the trip, it felt like leaving relatives, thank you Efi for everything, hospitality, food, the wonderful apricots, greetings to Teo and Bella who greeted us every day!

The house was great, quite comfortable, well cared for with nice decor. It's surrounded by nature with absolute quiet and it's fully equipped . Perfect for relaxation and tranquility. Hosts are very kind and understanding. I highly recommend it.

The appartment is spacious and beautiful, we had some trouble with the water caused by a general problem, but the host helped us super quickly and kept us well informed, would 100% recommend :)

Everything is as described, very good (small and cute). Our only reservations are about the location, not the accommodation: we arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the port is a huge parking lot for buses and cars which then loses all charm, it's a shame that the municipality does not know how to resist overtourism.

Sophia is a super friendly host whose home reflects her thoughtfulness and creativity. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived (in fact, when we were wondering if we had the right house, a kind neighbour came over to assure us we were in the right place) and she had kindly left breakfast items and fresh oranges and her own delicious honey. The house has two huge terrace balconies that both have far reaching, beautiful views, and it's so close to Ancient Mycenae l. I would recommend a two night stay here so you can get up to the site early in the morning while it's cooler, then come back for lunch and a rest, and go back up to catch sunset at the Lion Gate. Parking is right outside and the area seemed very safe. We met the sweetest elderly cat too, who liked to hang out with us on the terrace. We were there during a bit of a heatwave and the air conditioning in the bedroom and front room was invaluable. In short, an authentic greek village and old-school Airbnb stay.

A very beautiful and well-kept house with a fantastic pool and view. Beautiful rooms and amenities as listed. We had a great weekend. P.S. Because there are some comments about the parking, we did not encounter any problems. A Mercedes A180 can easily fit in and out.

This beautiful, old-style home was beautifully situated with exquisite views. The pool and outdoor area were particularly enjoyable for the children and family meals. Plenty of space for all of us and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.

Our holiday in this house was beyond our expectations. Finding the place clean and all essentials inside, the stay was truly comfortable and easy. The owner of the house was very responsive to all our questions, and kind. Location of the house is also perfect; just a 2-minute walk to the beach, and very convenient to restaurants in which you can find great Greek cousine. I highly recommend this property for anyone who seeks a calm holiday in a well-cared-for home in such a convenient setting as well as a a beautiful beach and the sea. Hope to visit there again !

We had an amazing family weekend!!!! The place is beautiful with a lot of calm and lots of greenery …. The apartment was fully equipped, we don't need anything extra! What an amazing apartment. Fantastic location with stunning views, yet very private - no one else was in the complex while we were there. Lots of facilities; the big barbecue and pool were our absolute favourite. 😉 Panos was a great host - very quick to respond and shares tips for places to see and restaurants. Just make sure to bring enough mosquito repellent, if you don’t want to end up as insect dinner.

The house was above our expectations! A house that has everything you need to spend a carefree vacation. It is in a nice location with a lot of quiet and a great view. The hosts are kind people, willing to help you with anything you need. The must of the accommodation are the sports activities for young and old. I highly recommend it !

We really enjoyed our vacation, the apartment was spacious, clean, fully equipped with everything we needed and more! Our host was very gracious and accommodating. The location is perfect for R&R, beautiful scenery, the view is really majestic, you can enjoy the mountain view from the balcony in the back and the sea view from the massive balcony! This place is AMAZING. When you initially walk in, it take a few minutes to even believe the view is real. As people say it is better than the photos. We rented a car and there are lots of lovely beach bars and restaurants around. The host was amazing and there was cold water and some local snacks in the fridge when we got there. If you are thinking about booking it then 2 words DO IT. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the host again

This place was absolutely beautiful. There was so much space and a very beautiful outdoor area. I wish we could have spent more time here, so we will definitely come back. The surrounding area is filled with of natural beauty. We woke up in the morning to views of the mountains, the sea was about a 10 minute walk away. Pantelis was a fantastic host and couldn’t be more accommodating. He is full of knowledge about the local area and ensured that our stay went as smoothly as possible.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is spacious, sunny, clean and comfortable. It is thoughtfully decorated and there is everything you need to feel right at home. The location is great, right across the park / square, a view of the ocean, and right in the centre so you can walk to all of the great restaurants and shops. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying at Alex’s place! It was clean and had everything we needed. The views are simply amazing! Water on every side. There is a beach that is walkable! The pool was perfect. It was a bit windy to enjoy it at times, but still a gorgeous spot. We loved being away from the busyness of everything. The mattresses were not the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in, but not unbearable.

A lovely villa, in a green and quiet environment, but close at the same time to the center of Diakopto. The house is even nicer than the photos, with a great view to the sea. Equipped like being at home, with lots of treats (breakfast items, soft drinks, water, beers, wine, beverages, generally you don't need something and not find it!). Spotlessly clean, well-maintained and well-lit outdoor spaces, large garden to play pets, good quality mattresses, bathrooms with large bathtubs, functional kitchen (free oven with hot plates and fridge freezer), privacy and nature everywhere (olive groves and citrus trees inside and around the estate), adequate heating, impeccable communication with the owner. One of the best airbnb spaces I've hosted. Thank you so much we will definitely visit you again!
