Equidistant and a short drive (15-20 mins) to the sea side town of Blackpool and the historic city of Lancaster. Less than a 10 minute drive to Poulton-Le-Fylde. Other places of interest include Lytham and St. Annes. The Lakes less than an hour away.

On a country lane, that provides quick access to Blackpool with its night life, attractions and illuminations in September, and only 50 mins to the Lake District. If you want the sea, its not far at all, with large beaches at Blackpool and the lovely upgraded front at Cleveleys is only a short drive away.

This is the perfect base for cycling or rambling along the coast or into the countryside along with exploring the historic surroundings.

The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
