Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Wyandotte County

We have probably stayed in this property half a dozen times, a fact that may be the best summary review. The pros: professionally managed, always clean, good neighborhood with dedicated parking, big TV, fast internet and a nice covered porch. Walking distance to restaurants, and just a mile from Loose Park, a lovely urban park. The cons: the house is not very big, with two bedrooms and one bath. It is an older home and the wood floors creak when you walk on them. Our party is two adults and two canines, and it works fine for us. Overall, it is our go-to place when visiting Kansas City.

We stayed at the Buffalo House for two nights and loved everything about it. The modern design, open concept, and cozy feel made it such a comfortable place for our family visit. The home is full of natural light, has an amazing sustainable feel, and the heated floors were such a treat. We also loved the floor-to-ceiling windows - they made the whole place feel so bright and welcoming. This was our very first Airbnb stay, and the hosts couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches from the plant-based organic body wash and shampoo to the soft bath towels, incredibly comfortable sheets and bedding, and all the pillows one could imagine. The space was exactly what we needed, and we’re so glad we chose this place. We would absolutely stay here again!

The place was spacious and the best for me and my family. I don’t have one thing negative to say about our stay. On top of everything being perfect I have to give the host a lot of appreciation. He communicated very well and answered all questions I had. Having him as a host made it better as well. I would definitely recommend his place. I would definitely use his place again. We had a great stay! It was nice and quiet—just what we needed. We really enjoyed our time at the farmhouse and would definitely come back.

Steve did an excellent job in advising us in the things near us that we could do! The check in and check out process was very easy! We also enjoyed the space for 12 people. Didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Nice neighborhood, clean, and a Walmart less than five minutes away. The neighbors were very friendly as well. We jogged through the neighbors for mornings runs and the neighbors were wonderful. There is a small park in the subdivision as well and the kids were able to play. Would definitely do this one again!

What can I say - second stay with this host in a month. Came from a long 15 hour drive to Missouri and had to book again !!! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a clean, safe, well appointed, and absolutely gorgeous Airbnb - look no further. It actually feels like you’re in the country but the middle of the city with the way the house is pushed back on the lot. The front is well lit, patio furniture on both decks as well as places to sit in the front yard and by the fire pit. Linens were spotless again, clean bathroom, excellent wifi service and tv options as well. I loved lounging in the living room and enjoying the peaceful surroundings and quaint house. Had a chance to meet the neighbours this time and they were very welcoming. Host goes above and beyond and was always responsive and helpful with good suggestions if I asked her. Thanks again I’ll be back !

The place was beautiful. Pool and hot tub were amazing. The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to use them to their fullest extent. Beautiful landscaping outdoors and plenty of space for our family. Autumn was prompt and responsive to any questions we had. The kids had a great time and we would definitely stay here again.

The home was so spacious. 6 bedrooms and 3 of them have a private bathroom! The home was clean and nicely decorated. Johnny was very helpful with an early check in and very responsive. Excellent home!

William was an excellent host! He was very responsive and helpful and was very accommodating when we had a mishap. His home is just like on the pictures, very beautiful and keeps a very clean home! We will definitely be visiting this gem again!

Parking is the only negative to this place, but that is not the fault of the host. Thats just big city life. Very clean place with nice decor. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Great bang for the buck. Also amazingly fast responses when I needed questions answered.

Wonderful Guest House! Very comfortable bed & well stocked kitchen. Location was a great homebase as we explored Shawnee and Kansas City. We enjoyed meeting John and Cora (and their dogs.). They were friendly and helpful. We hope to return this summer and use the pool!

Great place, big house, love them

Dylan’s place is truly an A+ certified property. It’s conveniently located at walking distance from the country club plaza neighborhood of Kansas City , probably the best neighborhood around the area. The place itself it’s extremely clean & equipped for longer stays. The layout of the space,bedroom & living room areas beyond comfortable. The host himself is an amazing person to work with & very understanding . Truth is we arrived very late in the night & misread the instructions on how to get in, so we contacted Dylan whom had the best attitude , understood how tired we were & help us get in . From the interaction, to the response time I have nothing but high regards for this host. Communication was top notch.Lastly, the area is amazing for sightseeing, dining & also some shopping. Not far from there’s Loose Park probably our favorite area part of our trip as we traveled with our dog & needed to help her also burn some energy. Highly recommend this 5/5 luxury property.

I have traveled very extensively over the years and Lindsay is one of the best hosts ever. When I am in town I always hope her place is available. It’s perfect for my needs and she is a gem!

Great place to stay for our spring break trip to Kansas City!

We traveled with another family to stay at Rob’s place for 4 nights. The property is situated in a very quiet neighborhood. We were impressed with the location of this property, which allows us to easily plan our daily trips. Plenty of restaurants to enjoy nearby as well. I’d highly recommend this place to any family traveling to KC.

Loved this cozy place! The home is so beautiful inside and out. The decor is outstanding! The beds are really plush and cozy. Backyard is fenced in and spacious. Neighborhood is quiet & charming, and the neighbors are so kind. We went for morning walks and there are a few nice parks nearby. As a nature photographer, I was very impressed with Wassmer Park and their unique flower garden. So beautiful even in January. We had a bunch (!) of snow during our stay and Doug was super responsive and helpful. The village shops are so quaint. Highly recommend the French Market and the Tavern. They have delicious salmon (Tavern), chicken, veggie dishes, coffee, and breakfast (French Market). We will be back!!

Nice peaceful setting with plenty of birds and a cool secluded long entrance lane. Check-in is easy and the place is spacious. Goats were a blast. Windows are located on all sides and are easily opened, yet good functional blinds are also present for privacy. Very nice TV and good wifi connection.

Great location to everything we did on our long weekend stay. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend!
