Places to stay near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base

Mary is such a great host. Our trip was cut short due to rising river levels from storms that have been sticking around for days. Mary and her husband came by to let us know to evacuate safely before it got worse. They were able to refund us for the balance of the stay. Very proactive and they care about their guests! My brothers and I will absolutely be back to float on the river. (When it is safer.)

We absolutely loved staying in this adorable cottage. Lisa was very welcoming and everything was beautiful and well maintained. The pond was wonderful to fish in and even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay we enjoyed the peaceful views! Would highly recommend this cottage!!

The North West Hideaway is so sweet that we just fell in love with it! It’s just the right size - not big but not crowded - very well-organized. And very comfortable! The view into the backyard is so lush and green and we enjoyed the Adirondack chairs on the back porch in the evenings. It was too windy for a fire in the firepit but it’s a nice touch and it’s maintained well. The coffee selection was excellent and we appreciated the maps and referrals to local eateries. The bed was just perfect: firm but not hard. I would recommend the North West Hideaway to anyone staying in Xenia who’s looking for comfort, convenience, safety and security, easy walking and bike riding - and the I almost forgot the apple fritters that were waiting for us! oh my goodness - they were delicious! We can’t wait to visit again!

Carol’s place was exactly as described. The home was very large, and had plenty of space to spread out. We had a large group of all ages, and everyone had somewhere to sleep safely. I liked that there were two bedrooms downstairs, so there was enough accommodations for the people in our group that couldn’t safely do the stairs. I imagine it would be fun to stay in summertime when you could enjoy the outdoors as well! This will be our go to place for the Dayton area!

We had a great stay again! So quiet, nice little farm to walk our dogs. And the accommodations are extremely clean.

Very creative conversion of a grain silo to an Airbnb! Wally and Cindy told us a bit about how it came to be, and were very friendly. The place was cozy, a great getaway! Very neat, comfortable furnishings, tastefully decorated for the season and with a farmhouse touch. Good suggestions for restaurants.

Mayra's place was beautiful! It had plenty of space for our group of friends. We really appreciated that there were so many bedrooms and bathrooms. We hope to stay again!

Tyianna was a fantastic host. Communication was smooth and timely, which made everything easy from the start. The location was perfect for everything we needed to do, and the house itself felt just like home. My family kept saying how comfortable and welcoming it was. Would definitely stay again!
