This was a lovely place for our large family of 19 people to celebrate Christmas together. Ample space for everyone, wonderful patio to socialise together, fantastic pool for kids to swim in all day. Ivy and Annita kept everything spotless and we had an amazing time. Thank you Maureen.

A covered outdoor porch features two white Adirondack chairs facing a large window with a view of the ocean and greenery. A small table sits nearby, and a brick fireplace is positioned at the back, creating a relaxing space to enjoy the scenery.

On The Deck a home away from home & on the beach

Beautiful home with a stunning ocean view. We loved the private beach and big yard for the kids to play. Mark was very helpful with my questions and their home was prepared for the unexpected loadshedding. The road leading to the home is in a bad state. If you have a lower car like ours it was a bit difficult to drive on.

Patricia was an amazing host, super flexible and understanding. We needed to check in earlier and even accommodated us for that. When we experienced loadshedding, she had back up power so we were never in the dark. An overall amazing experience, will definitely be back again.

It all started with a very warm reception from Silke. The house is bigger than the pictures and opening the door to the back patio area (that looks onto beautifully lush gardens) you hear the cry of the fish eagle! The house is well appointed with a lovely bathroom. A supermarket if a 10 minute walk away and major shopping centres are a 5 min drive away. The surroundings are very tranquil and you can while away the hours reading and relaxing away form it all. Great quality bedding and towels make the stay amazing and you can lie in bed watching the world go buy from private high level windows.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything was just as we hoped it would be. The accommodation was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The atmosphere was so inviting, and we could truly relax and unwind together. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. We had such a great time exploring the area, and the activities and sights were amazing—each moment felt special. My partner and I genuinely enjoyed every minute of our stay. The memories we created will last a lifetime, and we’re already looking forward to returning. It was the perfect getaway, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay at Sibs’ place was absolutely wonderful! The space was clean, cosy, and exactly what we needed for a weekend in East London. We felt welcomed and comfortable from the moment we arrived—just like home. The location was perfect, and Sibs was a responsive and thoughtful host. She kindly answered all questions ahead of time, which was super helpful. As travellers, we’ve stayed in quite a few places around the country and beyond—and Sibs’ place is definitely one of the best. It had everything we needed and more. Randy was very friendly and helpful, was perfectly located to everything we needed . I will stay there again when in east london again.

We had a wonderful stay in the house, in spite of bad weather and closed beaches. Suburban area quiet with very little traffic.The garden was even bigger than we thought, as was theTV -screen and swimming pool. Lovely kitchen with lots of quality pots and pans. Two upstairs bedrooms extremely hot, aircons provided as a necessity. The house is close to the most delicious Spargs I have ever encountered. The curry place around the corner is also commendable. Bonza Bay beach close to the house is beautiful, but quite neglected and according to some (local)warnings, not so safe either. Nahoon beach on other side of river about a 15 min drive away. Warrick is an excellent host with great communication. One small thing - for a three week stay one would expect clean bedding every week- as it was we had to pay the (lovely)cleaning lady and she even started preparing the house for their return while we were hiring her. But this is a minor- thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful house in a convenient location, awesome pool room with a nice big TV and home theatre. Lovely pool to cool off in on hot days. Very private with nice views of the river. Air conditioning in almost every room, very nice for dealing with the heat and humidity.

An open-plan living area features large windows that provide a view of the surrounding greenery. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, a white countertop, and bar stools. A dining table sits in the distance, while a comfortable couch offers a cozy seating option.

We had a lovely stay. The house has everything you need. It is beautifully decorated. The area is very peaceful with just a few houses in the street. The Crossways centre is just about 10min away with a nice well stocked Spar, as well as some other shops. The nearest swimming beach is Yellow Sands which is a short drive away. There is a lot to do in the area.

Vee's place is a beautiful home, amazing kitchen and is situated in a nice safe neighbourhood, with Bonza Beach just a few minutes walk away

Suzzane is a great host, she is responsive and ready to do whatever is required for her guests to have a comfortable stay. Her place is close to the city, yet has a country/secluded feel. I would recommend her place any day.
