Woubrugge Logies - Private Chalet in The Green Heart

This cosy, private chalet is perfectly located in The Green Heart of The Netherlands. By car only half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague, Delft, Gouda or the beaches. Woubrugge itself is a lovely small town along a characteristic canal that ends up in lake Braassemermeer. Sail, surf, swim, rent a motorboat, explore the beautiful surroundings by biking or hiking or relax in the garden. The chalet is a studio (40m2); comfortable for 2 persons. As the sofa bed can be transformed to a double bed the chalet is also suitable for young families or a group of friends. The chalet has one room (studio: 40m2) with a private bathroom. There is a double bed (size 210 x 160 cm) and a sofabed (size 200 x 140 cm). In the studio you will find a tv, a table with 4 chairs and a completely equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, toaster and a coffee-machine (coffee, tea and Dutch cookies (stroopwafels) are included in the price). A microwave for the guests is in the barn, next to the chalet. In this barn guests may park also their (rental) bikes or a pram. There is enough space for 4 persons, but do realize that you share the same room. The chalet is facing South, so you can enjoy the sun all day. And if you prefer to sit in the shade, you can sit under the large parasol. You will also find a cosy veranda to relax on and a lawn with fruit trees. Guests may use the chairs in front of the house on the riverside quay where you can sit, relax, have a drink and enjoy the spectacle of boats passing by. The chalet offers complete privacy. However, if you have any question or special wishes, we are most of the time in the neighbourhood or we can be reached by telephone. We love to help our guests and have a chat with them, if they like. Woubrugge is a small town half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague, and beaches. Follow the canal to The Braassemermeer, a lake which offers sailing, canoeing, and swimming. Bike, hike, and rent a motorboat to explore further afield. If you come by car: there are enough public parkingplaces near to the chalet. (for free). Public transport: Woubrugge can easily be reached by bus from Leiden Central Station. But also from Amsterdam / Schiphol Airport there is a good connection by train/speedbus. Woubrugge is part of several beautiful hiking and biking routes, so for hikers and bikers Woubrugge is a perfect place for a stay over night or for a longer period. - Smoking is not allowed in the chalet! There are games and on request we can prepare boxes with various toys for children aged 2-12. On the riverside quay you find a fine bakery. Apart from buying fresh bread and rolls there, you can have a coffee and pastries on the terrace overlooking the canal. If you don't feel like cooking yourself, you can have a delicious lunch or dinner at restaurant Disgenoten. Also this restaurant has a beautiful terrace on the waterside.

You will find us between Amsterdam (approx. 30 minutes, car), Schiphol (approx. 20 minutes, car and 30 minutes, bus) and The Hague (approx. 35 minutes, car) in the Groene Hart. Many possibilities for cycling, walking (located on the Marskramerpad), varen, cities and/or beaches (25 minutes) to visit. Private unique cosy country house. Perfect getaway

Comfortable country house (100 m2) with a big garden in the green heart of Holland, surrounded by windmills and grazing cows right across the little canal. Close to all main cities and the Kaag Lakes. Amsterdam, Delft, Keukenhof, Schiphol-airport and Leiden (10 min). The house is heated and also warm and cosy during wintertime. Four cannoes are available for you. Rental bikes could be delivered by a local company to home. Free parking. We follow the extra cleaning recommendations of Airbnb!

Welcome to the holiday apartment top two floors of the house. Own entrance from side of the house. There is a ground floor apartment (mine) and a two floor apartment above (for rent). House is on the water, with many trees, and windows. Big kitchen. Not good if you do not like stairs. The main bedroom has an attic with extra bed . Close to a supermarket, and the bus to Schiphol (Amsterdam). You may see our dogs outside, and sometimes hear them, when they talk to eachtother.

The comfortable studio apartment is in the center of Alphen on the ground floor on the Rhine. The studio is decorated in a homey style with modern features, there is a smart TV and a well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals yourself. The bathroom has a shower toilet and washing machine. In the middle of the bulb region, close to the train station, you can stay in our cozy basement with private access and parking. You can relax here! There are drinks in the fridge and a bottle of wine ready for you. There are many possibilities for cycling or hiking among the deer. The cities of Haarlem (10 min.), Leiden (12 min.) and Amsterdam (31 min.) are easily accessible by train. On request, I will be happy to prepare breakfast for you. (€30 for 2 people)
