What an amazing stay: we got hooked from the photos and even though it was dry and wet we just felt right at home. David has curated the cottage beautifully and his taste is immaculate. It’s tastefully designed inside with a premium finish and you feel right at home:

House was as listed - could do with blinds in the dining area to help with privacy. Elizabeth as host was very accommodating - especially arranging for the replacement of the washing machine when the old one broke down. Great quiet location - already booked another stay!

Had the best time at the cute Cockatoo Cottage. We went during autumn, which is already beautiful as it is up in the hills, but adding some rain to the equation made everything just a little bit better. The cottage and its surroundings are fully immersed in nature, and you can always see and hear the birds chirping away as they go about their day. It is very clear that Kathy and Michel put a lot of thought and work into making Cockatoo Cottage the perfect nest among the hills, and we couldn't be more happy about staying there. Such an amazing experience, and would recommend to everyone!

We were so sad to leave! Such beautifully decorated, cosy home. Everything was exactly as pictured, and I was particularly impressed by the state of cleanliness. Jane was very easy to communicate with, and included some really thoughtful touches for us on check in. This is a wonderful place to stay, we’d be thrilled to come back!
