House vacation rentals in Woodend

What a wonderful historical property and so grateful that you are sharing it for others to enjoy. It was the perfect place to accommodate our 3 generation Easter family catch-up. The swimming pool was used alot along with and the beautiful gardens around the home which were all manicured. It will be great if/when the tennis/basketball area is fixed up but we made great use of the Great Victorian Bike track at the back of the property. There are views from every window in the home which makes every room a little special but our favourite was the main dinning room looking down to the Goulburn River. A special thanks to Kelvin who is very responsive and friendly. We also appreciated the opportunity of an earlier check-in and late check-out. Would highly recommend this property.

We had a very relaxing time at Sheree's place. A very peaceful area with a lovely view over a large gully. Lots of room and comfy beds, it's also close to the local shops and cafe's in Hepburn and only a five minutes drive to Daylesford. Highly recommended Mark and Zoe

Nigel's place was fantastic. Everything about the property was great. Very clean and everything worked perfectly. The view across the paddock was great and the kids had an amazing time exploring the property and trying to spot the kangaroos. We took our telescopes with us and the night star gazing was one of the best we've seen. Highly recommend.

Our family had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay at Corlara. The house struck the perfect balance between feeling cosy and offering plenty of space for the eight of us - plus the dogs! Some of the standout features were: -Fantastic outdoor entertaining area with a pool, spa, kitchen, and fire pit -Well-equipped, open-plan kitchen indoors -Large dining table perfect for shared meals -Warm, inviting indoor fireplace -All the amenities we needed -Thoughtfully designed home clearly set up with guests in mind The surrounding bush block was great for short walks with the kids and dogs, and the property felt incredibly private. Despite the chilly winter weather, we ended each day soaking in the beautifully heated spa — a real highlight of the trip.

We returned for another gorgeous mini break and love this extraordinary house and rural outlook with dog friendly spaces. Short drive to great local cafe ☕️ and pub and a bit further for wineries walking trails and country gifts John is a wonderful host.

Viv was such a wonderful host. Gave my friends and I the option to checkin early and check out late once we realised the weather wasn’t going to be the greatest. Her place is stocked up with more than enough amenities and things to do. Looking to visit again in the future.

Jennifer and David’s house is a fabulous place to stay in Daylesford! The house itself is modern, clean, spacious, has excellent amenity, and special bonus features including pool, spa and sauna! Communication was easy, always prompt and informative. Will be back. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Lilah's place. It was so clean and cosy and we felt right at home. Her place is beautiful and she makes it so welcoming with lots of local recommendations and fresh bread, milk and jam in the fridge as well as fully stocked coffee pods - all lovely touches which we were very grateful for! The house is a short walk from town where there's so much to do. We will definitely be back :))

Wow, this place is quite incredible - the photos do not do it justice. Every aspect has been thought out and creates an amazing warm and inviting space. You feel instantly relax as soon as you enter the gates into a perfectly manicured garden and then once you open the front doors you know you’re in for a treat. You won’t be disappointed by booking this home. We will all be back.

A genuinely great stay. Doug clearly takes great pride in ensuring the house is prepared for a comfortable and enjoyable time. Walkable to the main strip at Woodend, the home is well laid out, well appointed and comfortable. Having stayed during winter, the central heating and wood fire made it a very cosy space to spend cold and wet nights. We would definitely stay with Doug on our next trip to Woodend.

Incredible stay at The Love Shack, house was in a great location, walking distance to everything. The house and amenities exceeded our expectation and so many beautiful details in the home, better than the photos. Madeline and Tim were very accommodating and responsive and made our stay really easy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again when in the area.

We stayed at Leighan's place for the Woodend Winter Arts Festival, which was close to all the venues, shops and cafes. I was cold and rainy and Leighan's place offered a snuggly warm retreat with a beautiful gas fire in between events. It was a clean, cosy, retreat after a weekend of classical music, inspiring lectures, and delicious food and the local cafes. Highly recommended!

Just spent the long weekend at Connie's place with friends. Despite the cold damp weather Connie's place was the perfect spot to explore Kyneton and the Macedon Ranges. Warm and comfortable and a great kitchen for cooking. Connie is a gem and always responsive.

This is a very comfortable small free-standing house, well-equipped, comfortable and warm, away from the traffic and just ten minutes' walk from Woodend's main street. It was ideal for our needs -- two couples who came for the Woodend festival -- because it was only one block away from the main festival venue.

Em and I had such a beautiful time staying at the peaceful, luxurious, and stunning Oikos at Breakneck Gorge. The layout was superb for a complete escape from the everyday with views we struggled to pry ourselves away from when it came time to explore the lovely Hepburn/Daylesford area. Arthur was lovely and incredibly informative and the space itself was fitted with just about every creature comfort we could possibly have wished for.

This is a lovely place to stay. It is styled beautifully, and was presented clean. It’s always a nice touch when the basics are in the fridge and the fire is primed to go. Mel was a very responsive host, and even gave us a great recommendation for a special takeaway night at Du Fermier. Thanks Mel, great spot.

We booked Jo's place for two nights for a family celebration (eight adults and two small children). Jo was extremely responsive to any request we had, and very easy and flexible to deal with at all times. The house was delightful - modern, spacious, bush outlook, exactly as advertised. There was even a lovely welcome hamper in the kitchen on arrival. It all made for a memorable weekend, Thanks Jo! 10/10

Although attached to the main house the accommodation was extremely private and in a beautiful setting with lovely views. We didn’t get to enjoy the outside decks due to the rain but were extremely happy to laze near the cozy wood fire and use the luxurious bathtub. Everything was absolutely spotless, the bed was very comfy and the fresh eggs, yummy bread, wine & chocolates very much appreciated. Thank you Michelle for a very peaceful and relaxing weekend. The accommodation was clean and beautiful when we arrived, with music playing and the heating on to make it feel extra welcoming. We loved the indoor hot tub and all the small touches which made it feel like the hosts really thought of everything. Overall we had an amazing time and would stay again.

A relaxing getaway with amazing 180 degree views from Mt Macedon to the lights of outer Melbourne. This large quirky house is great for groups wanting to spend time together catching up over a few drinks and nibbles while you watch the ever changing vista and local fauna.

A friend and I stayed at Yvonne & Darren’s for a relaxed weekend away from our families, and it was the perfect, cosy cool weather escape. Yvonne’s* countless thoughtful touches made us both feel very welcome and special, it was a bit like a treasure hunt as they revealed themselves one after another. Comfy beds, a hot shower, a game of Scrabble and warm drinks, it was a very easy house to just hang out in and enjoy. Not mentioned in the brochure is the beautiful pooch next door, he is magnificent and so friendly 😍 Thanks for a wonderful stay at lovely Leila! *I went out on a limb and assumed not Darren’s work ;) but if I’m wrong I stand corrected!

We stayed as a family of 5 adults, 2 kids and our dog, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The place felt cosy and inviting - like home from the moment we arrived. Sammy’s fun and friendly welcome note, along with the thoughtful snacks and dog treats, was such a lovely touch. Communication with Sammy before our stay was timely and friendly, with super quick responses. We even received texts to let us know the home would be available for early check-in and late checkout if needed, which was really appreciated. The house itself is light, airy, and super comfortable, with a fun, eclectic style. We especially loved gathering on the big couch in front of the fire and spending time in the dog-friendly backyard, which had loads of space for the kids to kick the footy. The location was great too - an easy walk to shops, bakeries, and pubs. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!
