The Airbnb is housed in a self-contained, architect-designed cottage adjacent to our house in Old Marston village, a ten minute bus journey from the centre of Oxford. In previous times it was home of the village farrier and later it became a pub known as The Three Horseshoes .Now purely residential, this location is ideal for those visiting the city, colleges and John Radcliffe hospital. There are bus stops outside the house and there is on road parking immediately outside .

'The Barn' is a newly renovated period barn finished to the highest spec located in stunning grounds in a very quiet no-through road. A small terrace behind the barn looks out onto a beautiful walled garden and the church spire at the end of the road. Oxford Parkway is only 5 minutes drive away and buses go frequently into Oxford from the end of the road. There are wonderful walks straight from the property, over the fields to the river and beyond.

Such lovely people. Maureen and Martin are fantastic. Could not be more friendly and helpful. ... and lets not forget Buzz, their 3 year old black lab, who could not be better. The location was perfect, for us. VERY regular bus connections are just up the road, if you would like to go into London, or into Oxford centre. We even walked into central Oxford one day, which is very straight forward, easy, and around 45-50 mins Maureen's baking is good enough for Hollywood (Paul)! Thank you so much M&M...&B🐾. Breakfast was a joy.

Felisia was a first rate host and her place is smashing. Located 10 mins level walk from Summertown shops and cafes. Lots of buses into the city centre from the end of the road. Quiet neighbourhood. The bathroom and room are fantastic. The bed was the best I've experienced away from home. Very many thanks Felisia!

I was highly impressed by having been given the opportunity to check in flexibly due to heavy rain at my arrival amongst others. Roger's partner Linda gave me a warm welcome, showed me around, and introduced me to Matthew, another very friendly tenant. Later, I got to know Roger's son Connor as well. Both Connor and Matthew were constantly available when it came to any questions. The accommodation is well-groomed and fully came up to my expectations. The individual bathroom is right next to the guest room, which is absolutely perfect. It's a good half an hour by the S7 or S4 bus to the Oxford City Centre. If one also wants to visit Oxfordshire beyond Kidlington with public transport, one should buy a My Bus Oxfordshire Adult Weekly Ticket which is worth it and cost just GBP 5 more than a Smart Zone Weekly Ticket. I highly appreciated the private atmosphere in Roger's accommodation. Five stars are nothing else but fair. Thank you. It would be a pleasure to get back in the future.
