Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Wood County

Greg & Jana were great hosts. The property was presented exactly as advertised, included all amenities needed, and was spotless. It was very close to OU's campus. Once we parked at the property in the accompanying parking space, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go in Athens. It's just a short 5-minute walk to Court Street, and College Green.

We stayed at Gregory’s place on Market st for a week ( June 2 - 8 ) . Gregory was responsive and accommodating , he message you right back as soon as possible. The place is beautiful, well equipped and organized kitchen. The bathroom is super clean and even has a toothbrush for the guest. The bedroom and living room are great, we felt like home. ⭐️⭐️ Private parking lot , you can see your vehicle from the bedroom 👌🏽👌🏽 Ohh they also have 2 TVs , one in the bed room also one in the living room/ Kitchen. We will be using Gregory’s place again soon.

We enjoyed our two week stay. It was very spacious and while we only had 4 people, it easily could’ve accommodated more. We were able to cook dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. It was a great stay and since we come to the area often, we will definitely stay again.

A great experience. I stayed for four months for work and loved having a comfy home base instead of a hotel. You can tell that a great deal of thought and effort was put into making the place feel festive and welcoming. The location was great and the view of the river out back was grand. Kim was a wonderful host and stayed in touch to make sure everything was going well. I am so glad I chose this place and would do so again without hesitation.

The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

Absolutely wonderful getaway, quiet and peaceful but not so far from a variety of entertainment options. Great place!

Perfect location in the center of town! Everything is very walkable. The town is filled with a bunch of friendly people. Recommend visiting the historical Society a couple doors down for great information about the area (open on Friday and Saturday). If you call ahead, you can make arrangements for a more in-depth historical experience. Fun restaurants, a couple shops, the city rolls up its carpets at 10 PM. The furniture is as pictured, very dated, but still comfortable. The Airbnb is located directly above the oldest hardware store in the State of Ohio. We had no issues during our weekends day.

Quiet and comfortable. Especially liked sitting and reading on the deck in the afternoon looking at the river. The deck furniture was very comfortable. There was a screened back porch that also looked inviting but we didn't use it. Our stay was only two nights. We have two grandchildren who visited on the morning we left. The grandchildren (4 and 1 years-old) liked the living space. Plenty of space to crawl and run around.

Very quiet and peaceful. Steve is a great host and the home exceeded our expectations. We will definitely visit again!

Kim was fantastic! She responded quickly and was accommodating to our requests. House was comfortable, cozy and clean.

Angie’s home was definitely “home” for us for a few weeks. Couldn’t have been more comfortable! Will definitely try to stay again when we come back. Couldn’t ask for more!

Me & my family loved Kayla’s home!! It was absolutely beautiful & the attic bedroom was SO COOL!!! She was very friendly and we just overall had a great experience. Would stay here again! Thank you Kayla!!!

Great place to stay if visiting campus. Short drive or pretty 40 minute walk. Very cool rustic feel. Easy parking and great host communication!

What a beautiful place! The one bedroom was so spacious and we really enjoyed the deck. The bed comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Great location: walk to dinner at the BBQ place just up the road or walk/drive into town. Wonderful to relax or enjoy the local neighborhood. Would be back!

Had a fabulous stay at the town house! Plenty of room and amenities for our stay…lots of little extras…dish/hand soaps, coffee service, toiletries, laundry detergent. Appreciated the garage parking as well! Bit of a walk to campus for us, so we chose to Uber. Would love to stay here again!

I rally enjoyed my time at this Airbnb, it was very comfortable. It was great being right on the river and being able to watch all the boats come through. I highly recommend and would stay again.

This was the second time that we stayed at this location because it is perfect for access to Court Street amenities and off-campus student housing. Ashley is very responsive and accommodating. I hope another set of moms stays here next year and has a blast like we did!

I’m a former student at OU and I really enjoyed this Air BNB. It was very clean and cozy. Very close to the highway and uptown court street. Angie was very accommodating as my flight landed early and I asked to check in early. I will definitely be staying there again if the future!
