Absolutely peace parades. Away from the hustle and bulse of city life. Beautiful, swimmable, fishable large pond with a few paddle boats and row boat plus life jackets for adults and children. Nice, Full Length covered front porch with swing and rocking chairs for relaxation while watching the Humming Birds feed from the feeders. They have thought of everything. Inside nice and clean and they even provide Wi-Fi access as well as a laptop for your use. All the cooking gadgets, utensils and cookware needed for anyone working the kitchen plus cooking items like Fish Fry powder, flour, condiments for just about anything 2 coffee makers (single cup Kureg and 12 cup drip both with either Kureg coffee cups or regular ground coffee and filters.) There is just Sooo much that can be said and Rodger N mary went Above and Beyond what you'd experience in most any place you can think of. I forgot to mention the FARM FRESH EGGS they provide. 5 STARS - BIG 3 THUMBS UP. We'll be back!!!

The Airb&b was clean, cozy and met all of our needs. It was very well kept and you could not tell that there were pets there at all. We loved the large fenced in yard which was perfect for our pets needs. It was a quick drive to downtown Athens and Strouds state park. Our host was quick to respond and very kind. Would definitely stay again when we come back to town.

We were in town visiting relatives. We had a good time staying there for the two days. Very clean and not over fragranced and the kitchen was easy to use. We felt at home and comfortable and it was easy to get around while we were there.

We really enjoyed our time. We were very appreciative of the extra towels and wash clothes readily available and easy to locate in the bathroom. This place has comfortable beds. We would love to go back when we return to Marietta.

Perfect location not far from Ohio University’s campus. It was nice to be less than 10 minutes from town but on a quiet road away from the action. Angela was extremely accommodating, quick to respond and the place was exactly as described. Would definitely book here again for future trips to Athens!

The Cosy Corner was perfect for our needs. We wanted to get together to celebrate our sister’s birthday and Marietta is a one hour trip for her and two hours for us which made quick and easy for all of us. Having three bedrooms all with queen sized beds was perfect so that we each had our own room. The upstairs bedroom is quite spacious with a half bath. The living room and dining area are both large enough for all of us to sit and talk. Since we were lucky enough to have nice weather, we were able to enjoy the porch. My sisters and I enjoyed some nice shops on Front St. while our husbands relaxed at the Cosy Corner. We did the sternwheeler dinner on Saturday and it was great. Good food and entertainment. Then we came back to the Cosy Corner for birthday cake, presents and games around the dining table. We left a few suggestions for improvements on the card left on the table in the house. All in all, this house was great and made our trip more fun and enjoyable than staying in a hotel

This place is exactly what we were looking for in Spence WV….Super Clean….Has everything you would need….There’s a tv in every room but the bathroom….lol….Super comfortable and quiet. It is straight up home away from home…already re-booked. This was our 4th year staying in Spencer and this was by far the best airbnb.

I’m thankful to have found this peaceful spot close to Ohio U. We enjoyed the walking trails and the horses too. Many thanks to Anne for being so responsive

My friends and I love to get out of the city and hang out at this cabin. We love the pool and sauna and we spend majority of the time on the front porch enjoying the peaceful energy and beautiful surroundings. The cabin is always clean and well stocked with necessities. It is decorated thoughtfully and the bedrooms and beds are huge and amazingly comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!!!

It was well worth the price. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. it had rained prior so it was very muddy outside. We would come back.

Our family enjoyed Valorie's guest home as it was only 30 minutes from our weekend get-together. Valorie was helpful with directions and was kindvwoth her responses. Our family lo9ks forward to our next WV trip and hope to stay in Valorie's guest home again.

Toni is a wonderful host and the house was perfect for our weekend in Marietta. The fenced backyard was a bonus for kids and the dog and the kitchen is well supplied. We enjoyed walking across the street for dinner on the river and the young grandchildren enjoyed watching for barges going up and down the Ohio. We never had an issue finding on-street parking on the side street - there is no dedicated driveway. Anyone with mobility issues would find this location challenging but for us it was just fine. Fond memories of Easter egg hunt outside and due to chilly weather, inside as well.

After arriving at another Airbnb that wasn't as listed, we were on the hunt for another one. We saw Nathan's listing, contacted him and reserved his place. He waited for us to arrive, got us in and showed us around. He even offered to help with our luggage. Nathan couldn't be more friendly and helpful. His listing was as advertised. It was extremely clean, well stocked and overall very homey. We will be going back. Thanks Nathan.

Great view! If you're looking for a quaint, peaceful place to destress with great river views, this is your spot. You can tell that Pamela really cares about her guest from the biggest to the littlest of details at her place Everything was perfect!! The place is exactly how the pictures show it to be. Pamela took care of all the little things, so when we arrived, we could relax and not have to worry about anything including having firewood in the fire pit ready to go. She is great with communicating with you to make sure you have everything you need. We had to leave early because of a family situation. We communicated that to Pamela, and she even followed up the next day to see how things were. You could not ask for a better host. We will be back to stay when we can stay longer. - Tonya

Donna met us with a warm welcome and open door when we arrived. We had a good stay in Cozy Cabin. It was just the ticket for our traveling through for one night. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We even enjoyed the bluebirds hanging around the bluebird box right outside the window! :-)

Place was clean, as described, and very reasonably priced. Narlie did a great job communicating with us regarding our stay.
