Super relaxing area and friendly host. The host personally came to find me when I was lost. Which just shows how much he cares about his guests. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a cheap but ideal night to sleep here.

The house was small, clean, and beautifully designed, making it feel very cozy. However, the address on Airbnb was incorrect, which led us to the wrong location on a bad road at night, making it extremely hard to return. We eventually found the right place on Google Maps and needed a video call from the host to figure out where to go—quite a challenge after a 7-hour journey. At night, a nearby celebration made it hard to rest before our early trip to Ijen. Despite these issues, we enjoyed the stay. The staff was super friendly, and after our hike, we had an amazing breakfast that made up for the rough start!

Had an absolutely pleasant stay at Ayu‘s Villa. Ayu and her husband are super nice people and were always available and happy to help us out. Would definetly come back any time because you instantly feel very welcomed at the Place. Honestly the highlight of our vacation. Herman and Alex made our time in Bali a dream. Private cabana right on the beach, peaceful surrounded by nature and the ocean waves. Recommend to anyone looking for an escape or private vacation spot. Daily local breakfast was also delicious. It is quite remote so do expect some bugs and critters but nothing too bothersome. Also recommend Hermans other listing in Ijen to see the rare blue flame acid volcano crater. Him and his son really made sure we were well taken care of in their beautiful homes and country.
