Vacation rentals in Wolf Mountain

Polly and Ron were excellent host who were very available for any needs. The house was perfect for our short visit to WCU. It was a little off the layout with the bathroom in the center, but once we figured out you could walk around outside it was fine. We wished we would have had longer to stay and explore. We definitely plan to visit again!

We enjoyed our weekend away here. The cabin is super cozy and it was nice to unplug. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Would come back in future.

What a wonderful little place! This farmhouse was PERFECT, and Celeste, our host, was wonderful. She even left my partner and I a bottle of wine after we mentioned it was our anniversary! The location is stunning, with stunning views and peaceful scenery. We are already planning when we can return!

Wolf Lake Escape is a great little remote spot right on the lake. Kathleen is an excellent host and Tilley the dog is a friendly co-host! The apartment is private and the views of the lake from just outside the door are beautiful. Thanks Kathleen, we’ll be back!

After travelling around various places in Tennessee and NC for 2 weeks, our favourite place that we stayed was at Tessa’s in Dillsboro - it quite literally felt like a home away from home! The house is adorable and we loved being around the animals. Although we did try to walk to Dillsboro one night as it’s only a 15 minute walk, it’s not pavemented so it was quite difficult to walk back so I wouldn’t advise anyone else taking the risk! The drive to Dillsboro, however, is just a quick 3 minutes away, Sylva is about 5/10 and Bryson City is about 20 so it’s very accessible. Tessa was not only very friendly but she was also incredible thoughtful with everything that she provided and we can’t recommend her place enough. If we ever come back to the Dillsboro area, we would absolutely love to stay here again. Thanks so much for having us!

What a GEM! We loved our stay at the waterfall cabin. It had everything we needed - and the creek was perfect. Even though it's right off the road, you can't tell! The creek and waterfall drown out any car noises you may hear. Katy was SUPER responsive and helpful before our trip. One of the main roads was showing closed on Google Maps, and she and her husband went above and beyond to double check that it was open. They also allowed early check-in since we were going to be in the area a little before the regular check-in time. 10/10 recommend, and we hope to be back!

It was a wonderful quiet space, a perfect area for a quick getaway. The scenery is beautiful and the privacy of the space was nice. The interior was clean and the space felt homey. The large windows were a great addition. Would recommend!

Peaceful, private cabin near Brevard with winding mountain roads—4WD/AWD recommended if wet. It’s very secluded, with few neighbors (though a friendly local dog might visit). The outdoor hot tub sits amid nature at a comfortable temperature (bench can feel slimy). The sauna doesn’t get super hot, so bring a flashlight at night—there’s no interior lighting. A tiered fire pit out back is fantastic; local firewood is easy to find. Inside, the spacious cabin feels welcoming, with a great projector, comfy couch, and solid heating. The kitchen is well-equipped but snug for four; consider the picnic table outside for meals. We spent our days hiking nearby waterfalls, exploring small towns, and visiting Brevard. Stock up on supplies or use the nearby trading post to avoid multiple mountain drives. Overall, a wonderful, quiet retreat.
