We had a great stay at the icehouse! Definitely a more historic unit but matched the descriptions and was perfect for our quick weekend getaway! Also a quick walk to everything downtown and the lake is right across the street. As long as you are not looking for something modern or fancy, this place is perfect!

Steve and Elaine were welcoming, generous, and flexible hosts. Their home is lovely and the top floor loft rental was perfect for myself, my husband, and my youngest young adult daughter. The local is wonderful as well. Thanks Steve!

This was my second time staying at this Airbnb, and it was just as enjoyable the second time as it was the first! I will definitely be back again in the future! The place is clean, welcoming, relaxing, and overall a very enjoyable experience!

Even though we were on the river off season we really enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the wild life and barges. It was quiet and peaceful.

Joan is lovely and a perfect host -- always responsive but never intrusive. She is very personable. I found her delightful.

This property is nestled within a quiet wooded setting. Everything from the outside surroundings to the furnishings inside the property create a calming atmosphere. The property owners are welcoming and willing to share information as well as their own

Everything went well. The apartment is part of a larger house. We had neighbors during our stay. There is a shared fire pit, but a private deck leading to the apartment. The house is right next to the ferry and bike/moped rentals, so very convenient. The space just has a small kitchenette with a fridge and toaster oven, so you can't really cook. Be aware of this during non-prime season because a lot of restaurants are closing for the season. All was clean and tidy. The water is from a well, so the smell of sulfur was pretty strong after a shower. We had a nice time.

Had a really nice stay at Katherine’s place. She was super nice and provided a tour of the barn, horses, walking paths, etc. super easy to communicate with and had a nice cozy time. Highly recommend.

The host was very accommodating and got me in last minute when I had trouble at my original Airbnb. He communicates well and is very kind. The place looks like the photos and the location is so close to good restaurants, museums, and the lake. Great place to stay!

Peaceful, clean, well-supplied and as a bonus, the animals on property are the cutest! The donkey was so happy seeing us and our two small dogs that he got the zoomies and showed off for us. You have plenty of places to sit comfortably inside and out. A full bathroom with washer and dryer if needed is nice. Lots of books, dvd’s and games are there in case you’d like to use them. We brought our small motorcycles and drove all over the local paved backroads. This was the perfect location for us, too. It’s only about a five-minute drive to the Mississippi River.

My stay was peaceful and very nice. I only stayed for one night, so I didn’t get a chance to explore the neighborhood much, but the place itself was lovely—very charming, clean, and comfortable. Check-in was easy thanks to the clear instructions from the host. Overall, everything went smoothly and the stay was pleasant.

This was a cozy home and a great stay! The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal, John provided coffee and snacks, and the registration book is a very cute touch. Would stay there again!

The house was very clean, check in was easy, communication great, and a great new glarus location. It is only a 10 minute walk to downtown new glarus. The bed and couch were actually very comfortable. There are about 15 steps or so you have to go up to the apartment. It also isn’t very big, but was just right for what we needed. Great place for visiting new glarus.

This was our first trip to the Dell’s with our boys and we had a great time! The resort had plenty to keep us busy and the condo was nice, clean and quiet. We loved having a full kitchen and laundry was helpful too. Aquavia Lumina was awesome and we definitely recommend checking it out. We will definitely be coming back and staying here again.

I’ve stayed here with my family so many times that it’s hard to conjure up something new and useful to say. It has made such a huge difference to be able to stay here while I visit family and friends in the surrounding area. It’s the perfect home base for whatever adventures you pursue in the Milwaukee area. And at the end of a long day, you have the most comfortable leather couch, TV, and cold beer and cheese in the fridge (provided by Joann and Craig). Do yourself a favor and book this place. Just don’t book it for the same time I’m considering coming.
