Lovely accommodation set in a great location within easy walking distance of Nottingham city centre. Cosy and comfortable, would definitely revisit if visiting Nottingham again. Also, so useful to have access to an electric charger.

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely stunning space. Lovely and cosy we stayed in may great to have breakfast outside looking at the great views. I can imagine in winter it would be extra cosy with the fireplace. Would love to stay again. Josh was great at replying and instructions were very clear. Beautiful town to visit, we came for a wedding but got to see some of the town of Bakewell while there it’s a must visit!

Beautiful cottage, felt so at home. The garden in particular was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was so clean and well equiped. The location is beautiful but do have to drive to a few things. We did the Curbar walk which is walkable from the cottage and is a lovely walk. We drove to Kinder Scout, Roaches, Luds Church, Hen Cloud and Millers Dale. Our dog loved the cottage, thank you so much we will ne back again 😊

The house was beautiful, and if possible exceeded our expectations. We were blessed with weather much better than that predicted, and were therefore able to take advantage of the close proximity of the property to Bakewell town, the Monsal Trail and enjoy the views from the patio at the property. We look forward to visiting again.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and was made to feel at home. Perfect location for a relaxing few days, and the dog loved the secure garden. Cottage was homely inside and had all the necessary amenities, the milk and brownies were a lovely added touch. Will definitely return, cannot fault it. Sarah was also lovely and very friendly and helpful.

2nd time staying here. the reading room is lovely small home from home. Has everything you need for a stay. always spotless and well presented and peaceful. the area is beautiful. hosts are always helpful and welcoming.

I can’t rate this Air BbB high enough. It was better than the pictures, immaculate, the master bed was so comfortable I want to find the mattress 😁 Jackie has thought of absolutely everything you could need, the amazing welcome basket was very well received. Three great pubs right on the door step, we one ate at one (The Farmyard Inn - great service and food) as the other had recently changed hands so wasn’t serving food as yet. The cafe right next door was also great, as a Kiwi I really enjoyed their coffee. Great walks right on the door step and just a gorgeous little village. Highly recommend!

Just had a 3night stay here. Absolutely loved it. The caravan was very clean and had all we needed. The site is brilliant for all the family with plenty to do and a great base for exploring the surrounding areas. Highly recommend the Old Dog pub which is 5min drive from the site. We definitely book again

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay in Michelle and Marks place. A good location to get out on our bikes on the Tissington Trail with the kids. The kids also enjoyed the freedom of using the park area with other kids and plenty of places to walk the dog. A trip out to Carsington Water and Bakewell completed the stay. Fantastic responsive host. .

An amazing lodge in a fab location. Sarah was a great host easily contactable. In close walking distance to the Tissington trail, Thorpe Cloud and the stepping stones. Kids loved the playground and swimming pool (small charge) the lodge was furnished so lovely and was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend a visit here

Fabulous place - we stayed for a week - with 2 teenagers, a preteen and our dog - great field opposite to run the dog morning and evening. Plenty of beautiful walks straight from the front door. 45 minutes to nearest place to eat out. Facilities were great - lots of swimming and football played by our kids. Thanks for a great stay.

Our stay at this beautiful house was most enjoyable. It's very rural. You can't really walk to places if you have young children. Not alot of footpaths. But if you want a nice quiet time to recharge your batteries this is the place. So relaxing. Well worth a visit. Will go back. Thank You. Chris and Hugh Maxwell and Family. 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

This place was fantastic. Beautiful renovation of a chapel. Our kids absolutely loved the large jacuzzi and I loved the sauna. It’s a pity we spend just the one night Would recommend highly.

We’ve just arrived home after a wonderful stay at Petra’s property. The house was very clean, beds comfy and had loads of stuff for a baby/toddler which was very helpful! we had an absolutely fantastic time here and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed and, despite it's small size, was laid out perfectly. In our family we had, 2 adults, 2 children (12+6) and a medium sized dog. plenty of room for all of us. A lovely, relaxing stay in great surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend to all.

We had a great time. The bungelow wad well equiped and comfortable. Slept really well , the bed is so comfy.

We loved staying at Caroline's! We (family of 4 with a 7yo & 1yo) stayed with friends (2 adults & 2yo + dog) for a long weekend. The house was beautiful inside and out- even better than the description and photos! It was clean, with a well-stocked Kitchen (cafetiere, scissors, peeler), and Caroline had even left us some biscuits. The girls had a great time playing in the garden and with Maddie (Caroline's dog) who would make regular appearances. Caroline was so friendly and even made some recommendations for walks. The cows in the field nearby were a great distraction for the girls too. Our youngest kids were a bit small to go for long walks but there were still plenty of shorter walks and playgrounds nearby plus a garden centre with soft play. We had a lovely, lovely time! Caroline didn't forget any little touches, like cushions for the outdoor chairs and TV with Sky etc.

We had a lovely few days staying at Cosy Cottage with our dog. It’s a very sweet place and we appreciated the little extras provided by Laura both for our dog and ourselves i.e biscuits , milk and tea/coffee etc. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Laura was very responsive and friendly in her messages. We found the locals so friendly in Crich and they were always happy to have a chat. Thanks for a great stay in a lovely cottage in a beautiful village.

We had a lovely stay at Anna’s, everything was as pictured and really clean. Lovely shower room with a great shower, comfy bed and really good use of the space! The wifi was a little slow but we had no issues there and Anna allowed us to be flexible with our check in/out times. Thank you for for a lovely stay 😊

The cottage is exactly as described, it’s up there with the best we’ve stayed in. Immaculately clean - so much so I felt comfortable having relaxing baths over a shower. Kitchen has everything you need to make a nice meal, and the bed is very comfy. Location is great, so quiet and peaceful yet only a few metres from a lovely country pub. There are plenty of long walking routes from the door to save you having drive elsewhere and park up too. We brought our Labrador with us who was very settled there and enjoyed the enclosed yard area. I’d recommend that anyone with a large dog (capable of or likely to jump a low wall) takes a long lead with them just for peace of mind given there are cows in the field. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful break away to unwind in the countryside.
